Brenda, appreciate you joining us today. We’d love to hear the backstory of how you established your own practice.
In 2001, I took the bold leap of launching my business from the sanctuary of my own home. Embarking on this entrepreneurial venture, I began by showcasing and selling my products at intimate shows, local farmer’s markets, and among my circle of friends and family. Witnessing a rapid growth in demand, I soon found myself in need of retail space. However, the urgent requirement for expansion presented a daunting financial challenge, primarily due to the substantial overhead costs involved. My advice to others would be to never give up on your dreams, it can be challenging, but it is worth the sacrifice!

My name is Brenda White, and I am the founder and CEO of Earth Goddess Apothecary. I am a passionate advocate for natural healing and have dedicated my life to mastering a variety of holistic practices. As a Reiki & Crystal Reiki Master, Herbalist, Aromatherapist, Advanced Reflexologist, and Holistic Health Practitioner, I have delved deep into the world of herbs, essential oils, and alternative healing methods. My youngest daughter Felicia Burns-Hernandez joined me and is now my partner. She is currently pursuing her degree in Herbal Medicine & Aromatherapy.
My journey began in 2001 when I discovered the incredible potential of herbs and essential oils for natural healing. I initially started with a few products, with my Pain & Inflammation Support becoming a customer favorite. Those suffering from arthritis, fibromyalgia, back pain, and injuries found relief and healing through this product, leading to rapid word-of-mouth spread. This success encouraged me to expand the product line to include a wide range of organic offerings such as herbs, essential oils, roller balls, tinctures, loose-leaf tea, body care, anti-aging skincare, goat’s milk soap, sage, crystals, stones, and crystal jewelry.
As I continued my journey, my knowledge grew, and I pursued advanced certifications to complement the products with healing treatments. Presently, I offer a variety of treatments including Reiki & Crystal Reiki, Reiki & Crystal Reiki Reflexology, Crystal Bed Chakra Healing, Sound & Vibrational Healing, Tuning Fork Healing, Himalayan Singing Bowl Reiki Massage, and Infrared Blanket Healing. These treatments have helped countless individuals with pain, inflammation, skin conditions like psoriasis and eczema, as well as stress and anxiety.

Training and knowledge matter of course, but beyond that what do you think matters most in terms of succeeding in your field?
Maintaining the determination and resilience to push through challenges; the field of natural healing is often underappreciated and its numerous benefits not fully comprehended. Moreover, the process of cultivating a solid clientele is often slow and requires patience.
