We recently connected with Audrey Neudeck and have shared our conversation below.
Audrey, appreciate you joining us today. Alright – so having the idea is one thing, but going from idea to execution is where countless people drop the ball. Can you talk to us about your journey from idea to execution?
Growing up, I’ve always had a passion for photography. I knew there was beauty in the world that I wanted to capture, and just needed to find an avenue to allow that. Fast forward about 20 years, I’ve moved 3 states and have found myself as a leasing agent. One of my maintenance team had found a camera in the trash and I made, as I’d come to find out, the most critical decision of my life. From there, I offered to take photos at every event I could. Weddings turned into Concert Venues and into Comedy Clubs. Through relentless cold messages, and incredible humans who supported and offered me unique opportunities, I have now been able to support the dream that my child self could have never imagined.

Audrey, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
She Will Capture is a revolution in what I feel is a stagnant movement in the creative industry. There is a gap of representation for all who do not fit the typical modeling standard set by the world. I have only ever felt “beautiful” by maybe one or two of the photographers I have ever shot with. Not from to lack of skill or knowledge, but due to preconceived and unrealistic standards within the industry. She Will Capture aims to change the perception of that standard by highlighting the beauty of all, and not just within a fraction of the population. This effectively allows all people the opportunity to feel beautiful in their own self. Allowing me to capture how I see you, as opposed to how the world has made you view yourself.
As an inclusive brand, I ensure both the comfort and respect of my clients through representation and by using my platform to spread awareness of the lack thereof in the industry. I hope to make a lasting impact in the industry, so littles of the future can see them selves represented everywhere in just a beautiful a light as any of their counterparts.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
When allowed a space for your craft to thrive, and being allowed to share that with the world is such an incredible experience in itself. To then take that craft and be able to share the joy and love that goes into it with others through a physical representation is a whole new aspect in itself. To be able to do what I love and give back to the world is by far the most reward I could ever hope for.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
Consistency and communication are key when it comes to photography. Delivering quality content within a timely manner ensures that my client is satisfied with the sets that I deliver. By chance there is anything they would like readjusted, I am able to quickly coordinate with them to make sure that they are happy with the final product. If I am not entirely transparent about my abilities and turnaround, the possibility of a failed shoot would be a very real concern. This could possibly be the most important day of this person’s life, and it is my responsibility as a photographer to be honest with my clients to ensure they have the best experience possible. I have found with this transparency, the most genuine and authentic interactions within my client base.
