We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Kelly Price a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Kelly thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. It’s always helpful to hear about times when someone’s had to take a risk – how did they think through the decision, why did they take the risk, and what ended up happening. We’d love to hear about a risk you’ve taken.
After selling the company I owned and operated in the auto industry for almost 30 years, I learned about an innovative and life-changing treatment to help people who suffer from mental health issues like PTSD, anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, hypervigilance and even menopause! I have such a strong conviction about helping people who suffer like this. I just knew I had to bring this to more people to provide them hope and healing. In January 2024, I wrote a business plan to open a medical center, found an amazing partner (Dr. Joshua Goldner) and opened Reset Medical and Wellness Center on April 4, 2024. We held a Grand Opening celebration on June 3, 2024. In less than 90 days, we went from paper to seeing patients! Hope and Healing for everyone!

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
Truly, my passion is just caring for people and doing everything I can to help them in a way that is compassionate and caring. A positive “people” (now patient) environment is most important to me. Making sure that people know they are loved and cared for. In the automotive industry, I was known most for my culture, not only within our four walls, but outside the four walls as well. I intend to make sure that each and every patient we care for feels the same way. Especially when dealing with individuals that have already experienced traumatic events, long-term stressors, anxiety, depression and more, the patient experience is even more critical.
Our healthcare system is so difficult to begin with. Our mission is to “prioritize a caring and patient-focused approach,” while providing “advanced, evidence-based care with a focus on life-changing, profound relief.”

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
Early on, and really throughout my entire time running my first company, I felt like I had to be in the know of everything—putting my stamp of approval on every decision. I worked myself to the brink of exhaustion, believing that this hands-on approach was necessary for success. Over the last few years, however, I realized I needed to trust and relinquish control to my key managers, who were plenty capable of making great decisions and carrying on our mission of putting people first.
Today, thanks to the guidance of my two mentors, Benjamin Hardy and Chad Willardson, I’ve learned to focus on my 20%—the things I do exceptionally well—while relying on others more qualified to handle the remaining 80%. Completely trusting and supporting those around me is essential. It’s hard for me because I run fast, think fast, and often feel I can “just do it faster.” However, that approach isn’t best for anyone, especially myself. It also doesn’t help others rise up and do something they can be proud of. Letting others win around you means you win too.
This shift in mindset has been transformative. By allowing others to take the lead and trusting in their abilities, I’ve seen not only personal growth but also a more empowered and effective team. It’s a win-win situation that fosters a healthier work environment and drives collective success.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
My entire life has been a testament to resilience. I barely finished my freshman year of high school and only attended the first two weeks of my sophomore year before moving out on my own, even before I was old enough to drive. I never went to college, except for a few classes focused on things I needed to learn (accounting principles and business law).
By the age of 20, I was already married, had earned my cosmetology degree, owned a company with my husband, and was selling real estate. Not long after, I entered the automotive industry. Fortunately, I joined an entrepreneurial group that allowed me to identify areas needing improvement and to approach them differently, always with the customer as the primary focus.
It was in the automotive industry that I recognized a significant need for transformation. This realization led me to open an administrative company based on complete and honest transparency. I liken it to opening a medical clinic to help people with their mental and physical health. While I’m not a doctor, my desire to help others drives me, and sometimes, that’s all you need—along with a qualified doctor, of course!
This journey has taught me that resilience is not just about surviving tough situations but thriving despite them. Each challenge and setback has been a stepping stone, shaping me into the person I am today.
