Samuele , appreciate you joining us today. Are you able to earn a full-time living from your creative work? If so, can you walk us through your journey and how you made it happen?

Yes, I have been able to earn a full-time living from my creative work. It certainly wasn’t like that from day one. I started from scratch, working tirelessly and striving to be as flexible and creative as possible, even in managing the business side of things.

Some of the crucial steps in my journey were meeting couples who were open to my way of working and conceptualizing events. Additionally, living in the United States played a significant role. It allowed me to better understand the work mentality and the expectations of our clients.

In hindsight, each experience was a valuable learning opportunity. While there may have been ways to speed up the process, the journey itself was essential for my growth and success.

I was born in Tuscany, into a family that always organized numerous dinners and parties. This environment was a significant influence on me from a young age, inspiring my passion for bringing people together and creating memorable moments. This passion eventually led me to establish Gallorini & Giorgi Events.

We pride ourselves on our ability to solve various challenges for our clients, whether it’s finding the perfect venue, managing logistics, or ensuring every detail aligns with their vision. What sets us apart is our commitment to flexibility and creativity. We approach each event with fresh ideas and adapt to the specific needs and preferences of our clients, ensuring a personalized experience.

One of the aspects I’m most proud of is our dedication to understanding and exceeding our clients’ expectations. Living and working in the United States has given us valuable insights into the work mentality and client expectations, which we incorporate into our approach.

Can you tell us the story behind how you met your business partner?

I met Eleonora when I was 25 years old. We became a couple shortly after and quickly decided to work together. Seventeen years later, we’ve realized our dream of establishing a successful business together. We have two wonderful daughters and a life that is never boring, thanks to the same enthusiasm that drives us to embark on new adventures in both business and life.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.

The first 3-4 years in business were very tough, not so much due to the typical challenges of a startup, but more because of the negativity from people around us. Everyone kept saying we should find stable, secure jobs, especially since we had a young daughter. They pointed out that others our age were successful because they had landed steady jobs with good salaries. This was by far the hardest challenge—convincing our loved ones that we weren’t crazy and that our vision and determination would pay off in the long run. And indeed, it has.
