We were lucky to catch up with Angela Wynette recently and have shared our conversation below.

Angela, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s jump to the end – what do you want to be remembered for?

In becoming an author and life coach my main mission in life is to help others become their best selves. My legacy behind my work that I want to be remembered by is that I was willing to do whatever I could to see others truly happy. It wasn’t always about the money for me but more about the mission of trying to heal a hurting nation world wide. I want my legacy to be remembered as a genuine hearted person who has a real love for people and a dedicated mind to help see everyone happy and healthy.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

I am a certified life coach with 2 published books currently out. I have 2 more new projects that will be released this fall. I got into life coaching because I was dedicated to helping others not fall into depression like myself and cause their lives to spiral out of control. I wrote my books to give real life examples and stories to my readers and clients so that they could resonate with me and see that it is possible to overcome the obstacles that they are facing in life. After battling depression, self esteem issues, toxic relationships and a terminal illness I wanted others to know that if I could defeat those obstacles then so could they. I put in the work and went to counseling to help navigate on how to become to best healed version of myself and I then went to school to educate myself on how to do the same for others. My brand and business is built off of a sincere love for others and wanting everyone to be fulfilled in their lives and truly happy. I’m blessed to be able to speak across the world at different seminars, conferences and events. I will be going on tour to do public speaking and sell my motivational books this fall 2022. My tour is apart of the Ultimate Women’s Expo and will be stopping in several wonderful cities. I’m elated at the opportunity to be able to share my story and motivate others on being the exceptional beings that I know they are capable of.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?

In my career choice of becoming a published author and life coach I had to overcome doubting myself and my capabilities. I went through so many trust issues with everyone in my life that it impacted the way I viewed myself and my worth. Because of being afraid of what others would think or say it allowed me to delay the work that I needed to be doing which was sharing my story with others. I finally was able to trust my abilities and knowledge and took the leap of faith and published my books and began accepting speaking engagements. I let my fear go and begin to walk in faith of what I know I had been qualified to do. I’m now able to sell my products and go across the world helping others which is the most fulfilling accomplishments to be able to do what I love. So I would say to anyone doubting their abilities and skills to take the chance and bet on yourself you will not lose.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?

In my line of work I have discovered that the best branding for me has been by word of mouth from my supporters. The overwhelming amount of support from people I have just met and encountered has been numerous. The testimonials they send regarding how my books have impacted them and so they share them with their family members and friends has been my biggest avenue. By doing different pop up shops and speaking engagements it has really grown my clientele and supporters. I utterly believe that just being your true authentic self and loving what you do is what has helped me get to where I am now and will help me grow further and reach more individuals.
