Freddie Woods, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today So, let’s start with a hypothetical – what would you change about the educational system?
Mrs. Freddie Wilson worked in the school system from 1992 to 2009 as an everyday substitute teacher and educational aide/teacher assistant. At 71 years old, she returned to the school system in 2022 for my granddaughters Z’Asia and Najay, who are in high school. As a Substitute Teacher. What would she change about the education system to prepare students for a more fulfilling life? They should put prayer back into the schools; it would be a great place to start. People grew up with prayer in the schools, as many of us who were going to school before they took prayer out of the schools. The 50s – 60s graduates lived a great life with prayers in schools. Students were obedient, kind, and respectful to each other and the people in authority we were saying at that time in the school system. Prayers were taken out of public schools in the United States around 1962; some might still say prayers or praying is allowed, but it is not in my County. Christian Schools, of course
School teachers and principals used to be great role models for children, showing them how to dress for success in their careers within the school system. There were career days that illustrated why change is needed for the future, as our children are the future. Considering school changes over the past decade, it’s evident that prayer has been eliminated from classrooms. This shift didn’t just begin with the 2020 pandemic. There’s been a noticeable change in the way students dress and maintain personal hygiene. Many students attend school in their pajamas, neglecting basic grooming tasks like combing their hair and brushing their teeth. Likewise, teachers have adopted a more casual dress code, blurring the line between themselves and their students. As a result, more students require counseling, and it’s important for teachers to be attuned to their needs. Schools should have qualified, committed counselors available for students to confide in and seek support. A compassionate teacher can significant impact on a student’s life and help them break through their struggles. It’s worth considering the prayer role in schools, as it may have provided students with solace and support. Students think that it’s a great thing to vape at school; they come to school when they want to come to school. Taking an eight-month seven -grade class from September 2023 through May 2024. Students come to class when they want to in middle school, “yeah.” This is why prayer needs to be in the school, more God because teachers act like their students; they don’t care because they say the students don’t care and parents do not care, but someone needs to care. I believe teachers must receive support and encouragement. They deserve higher pay but also need fulfillment in their spiritual lives. Our primary goal should be to find passionate teachers who genuinely care about their students, similar to the educators of the past. I suggest conducting surveys among elementary to high school students to identify what they need to feel happy and engaged at school. This will also help both new and experienced teachers better understand and meet the students’ requirements. Additionally, I strongly feel that prayer should be reintroduced into schools, not just for the students but also for the young teachers who need guidance and support. Furthermore, teachers should dress professionally and set a standard of professionalism for the students to follow. I believe that everyone is made to do great things. The God who made heaven and earth and made you and me. God gives us everything we need; Philippians 4:19 Says, “My God shall supply all your needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” And he said that we are to pray like he said he would give us our creator, the Lord of Lord, king of king Almighty God.
Freddie Woods, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

Are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?
Millions of books out there by great authors, best-selling authors, and books that are turning into movies every day. I wish I knew how to market Books, especially mine so; I could tell others the secret. When your name is unfamiliar to this big wide world you pray to God to open doors for you.
For entrepreneurs, marketing can be scary place to be. I am learning the craft of marketing to support my creative journey. I am an author who is unknown.
Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
II attended my first writers’ conference alone and felt proud of myself for going. There were over 800 editors, authors, writers, and film directors from all over the world. I listened to the speaker in a large auditorium on the first day of the Blue Ridge Mountain Christian Writers’ Conference. Although I didn’t know anyone there, I was very happy to be in attendance. Well-known authors who had sold many books were present, and the main speaker on the day I arrived said that whether someone had written 150 books or just one, or even if they had only thought about writing a book, there was no one better than anyone else in the room. The speaker then emphasized that our God, our Lord, and our Heavenly Father had instilled the desire to be a writer and author in each one of our hearts, making us all equal in that regard. We all are equal, I was absolutely thrilled when he said that because my journey had been incredibly challenging. His words came at just the right time when I needed that encouragement. There were some incredibly influential authors in the room, and to imagine my own name alongside theirs in bookstores like Barnes & Noble was truly inspiring. Becoming an author and being at that conference was an incredible experience. The people were so welcoming and shared their stories and words of encouragement. It was a week filled with love and support. This Writers Conference has been a significant part of my journey, spanning 9 years. I would love to extend an invitation to you to join us. I promise you won’t regret it.
