We recently connected with Farah Neo and have shared our conversation below.

Farah , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. To kick things off, we’d love to hear about things you or your brand do that diverge from the industry standard

I would say something that The Neo Brand does differently from the industry is we don’t really follow too many trends. The belief of our brand is Individuality and promoting being yourself to the fullest. Your style should define you, not the brand you wear. We really want to create something where people don’t have to put up certain facades to fit somewhere that isn’t even meant for them. It’s about being authentic, quality, fashion sense, and daring to be you.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

So, I’m Farah Neo, I am an artist, content creator, model, entertainer, and I”m a business owner of the Neo Brand. I got into the industry years ago with making music, doing performances, and acting in others skits and music videos. Overtime, I was building my social media presence, I began to get brand deals and promoting other brands & that motivated me to start my own as well, so that was how The Neo Brand was born. I’ve solved a lot with providing a bit of my fashion sense to my fanbase and other new comers as well. I think what’s sets us apart is our sense of individuality and not following trends but making them. I’m very proud to help people that are looking to develop their own style and get quality clothes that will last and be in style as well.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?

Well, in the beginning, I started something where I would consistently roll out content over a certain of time. I started telling my story online and sharing my presence online, I ended up getting a couple of viral videos and building my fanbase. Live streaming also, has helped me a lot with building my brand and building a name. The advice I would give is just to be consistent and share your story.

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?

I had to unlearn that people know what they’re talking about, especially if they have never done something that you’re trying to pursue. All of my career, I have plenty of people try to tell me what route to take in my career and what to do. Some advice I did take and others I didn’t. Every path is going to be different so make sure you go with your gut instinct and also listen to those that are in your career lane and have at least some type of knowledge on what you do.
