Dr. Trixie, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?

Over the past 26 years, Apostle Trixie Morgan has led efforts to bring spiritual guidance and practical support to populations, illustrating a profound commitment to their well-being.

Dr. Trixie, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I’m Apostle Trixie Morgan, I am a wife to Freddy Morgan, a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Before stepping into my role as a helper and leader in the community, I prioritize tending to and leading my family. I have two daughters, although I lost my first child, and I am blessed with a host of spiritual children. I am a grandmother to nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
I am founder of ATM Ministries and Zion A Habitation of God’s Glory and Praise. My journey into this ministry began when I heard the cry of people who needed help, and I knew I had to be obedient and answer the call. For over 26 years, I’ve been committed to serving my community in Cedartown, GA, and beyond, driven by a profound desire to make a difference in the lives of God’s People.
We are dedicated to making a positive difference, providing individuals with the tools, support, and spiritual guidance you need to thrive. Our work is fueled by faith, compassion, and a deep desire to see every individual we serve experience true empowerment and transformation. Remember, we can and will help you according to your individual needs.

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
I had to unlearn the belief that everyone was loving and would treat me the way I treated them. Over the years of serving and leading the community, I expected others to reciprocate the care and respect I offered. Growing up, I thought everyone loved and cared the same way. However, as I matured, I realized that this is not always true.
I remember the scripture where God speaks to the Pharisees and Sadducees at His baptism, saying, “You brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the coming wrath?” This passage helped me understand that not everyone who claims to be there for you truly stands with you. It taught me to let go of the expectation that everyone would support and stand by me as I did for them.
But the lesson in all of this is that I must still love.

Have you ever had to pivot?
In 2022, I started OneTouch Elite Academy. While embarking on this journey and continuing my education to prepare for the role of director, I prayed for God to enlarge my territory, even preaching a sermon about it. In 2023, I received a call to work as the director at a local academy and to reopen an academy that had been closed for 2-3 years. I went from having 5 students to 60 students. I left my self-employed journey to return to an employed position because God needed me there.
