Alright, Rakesh thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s jump back to the first dollar you earned as a creative? What can you share with us about how it happened?
Earning my first dollars as a creative—be it as an editor, photographer, or artist—was an exhilarating journey filled with challenges and triumphs.
When I first started, I was passionate about capturing unique moments and telling stories through my work. However, breaking into the industry was no easy feat. I spent countless hours perfecting my skills, building a diverse portfolio, and networking with other creatives.
One of the most exciting moments was when I landed my first paid gig. I had been tirelessly promoting my work online and attending local art and photography exhibitions. During one of these events, I was approached by a client who was captivated by my unique perspective and editing style. They commissioned me for a photo editing and graphic designing , and that first paycheck felt like a monumental achievement.
It wasn’t just about the money; it was a validation of my hard work and dedication. That first dollar marked the beginning of a rewarding journey where I could blend my passions for editing, photography, and art into a fulfilling career. The challenges along the way made the success even sweeter, and each project since has been a testament to the power of perseverance and creativity.

Have any books or other resources had a big impact on you?
I didn’t read Books To Much but I had gained knowledge through videos and many big youtubers . Which helps me to change my mind through their perspective of seeing pictures and art.

We’d love to hear your thoughts on NFTs. (Note: this is for education/entertainment purposes only, readers should not construe this as advice)
As an editor, photographer, and artist, I view NFTs as a revolutionary development in the art world. They offer a secure way to establish ownership and provenance of digital art, allowing creators to sell unique or limited edition pieces to a global audience. NFTs also provide ongoing royalties from secondary sales, which is a significant benefit for artists. Additionally, NFTs enable direct engagement between artists and collectors, fostering a closer community. While mindful of the environmental impact, I see NFTs as an exciting opportunity to innovate and monetize creative work in new ways.
