We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Tiffany Wayne. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Tiffany below.
Tiffany, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?
I started out doing makeup for fun, little did I know that makeup would lead me on this path. When I would do makeup my clients would ask me about skincare etc., and at that time I had no knowledge of skincare, but that gave me the drive to educate myself so that I could help my clients with their skin concerns. So I decided to become a Licensed Esthetician, specializing in skincare etc. I’m all about all things beauty and I love to see my clients faces light up. Those are the things that drive me to do more, which is what brought me into Body Contouring. Sometimes people struggle with losing inches or tightening skin in certain areas and Body Contouring helps assist with those areas of concern. My clients drive me, to be better and do more. If I can put a smile on their face it makes everything totally worth it.
Tiffany , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I’m a Licensed Esthetician and Certified Body Sculptor. I love making people feel good about themselves or just simply bringing a smile to their faces. My love for makeup pushed me into becoming an Esthetician and from that grew into Body Contouring. The name of my studio is Sculpted by Be A Doll. I’ve always been known for making women in particular feel and look like beautiful Dolls, so I felt that name was fitting. I provide services such as facials (all types of facials), body contouring, wood therapy, cellulite reduction, waxing etc. I feel what sets me apart from others is not only the true passion I have for my craft but also the love and connections I create with my clients. My clients are not just clients they are so much more than that. I build relationships with my clients, I like to really get to know them and I cater to my clients. I like to think I make everyone that enters my studio feel special. I’m most proud the growth of my business and the direction its heading into as well as the relationships I’ve built and the person I have evolved into during this time. I would like my potential clients, followers etc. to know that I don’t take for granted the people that trust me with the first thing someone sees when they see you and that is your face. I’m thankful for the trust and support from my clients.
How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
I think what helped me build my reputation within my market is that I put my clients first. An example is, I’m usually closed on Sundays but sometimes I make exceptions for my clients. Also, there are so many people that do the exact same thing as I do and I’m grateful when someone trust me, so with that being said I deliver everything exactly as I say I will and people leave feeling great and that is why my clientele grew the most from word of mouth.
We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
I think for me a lesson I had to unlearn, I guess would be marketing and not fully utilizing my resources. I’ve always tried to be superwoman and do absolutely everything, but over time I have learned to pull from others. I’ve learned to adapt to the new ways of marketing a business and think outside of the “traditional” way of marketing. Marketing can’t just be social media, although its a great marketing tool, but that cannot be your only tool, there should be some leg work and other things put into place as well.
