We were lucky to catch up with Jenni Farley recently and have shared our conversation below.
Jenni, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today One of the most important things we can do as business owners is ensure that our customers feel appreciated. What’s something you’ve done or seen a business owner do to help a customer feel valued?
Being a small business in a small town means we get the opportunity to give back to those who choose us. We know without the sacrifice of the amazing men and women of our military we wouldn’t have the opportunity to be free and do what we do. So we always offer active military and veterans 50% off on their wedding days. It’s a simple way for us to thank them for their sacrifices.
Jenni, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
My husband and I love hosting people so when the opportunity came for us to purchase our western wedding venue and we could move our farm it seemed like it was meant to be. We get to be creative while creating a unique oasis for our guests to experience a small bit of our way of life. We get to create stunning weddings, handle day of event coordination, run dress rehearsals and create floral displays. Our goal is to make your wedding day perfect, unique, memorable and full of love and laughter. And when our couples reach out and tell us thank you for making their day perfect we know we did our job. And that makes it worth all of our work and time!
Can you tell us the story behind how you met your business partner?
My husband Jason is my business partner in our wedding venue CreedsTown Ranch. When this opportunity came to us I think he probably thought I was crazy but he is for sure my ride or die and he said let’s do this! My husband’s background is that he is a professional Rodeo Clown who travels all over the country. So you would never guess it but he is so good at floral arrangements, DJ work and running the day of events. So knowing that I have a partner that can run our venue as well as I can makes this so much easier because it still gives me the opportunity to travel with my career with Paul Mitchell Advanced Education as a hairdresser. And honestly we always have so much fun when we get to work together.
We also have a unique perspective because we actually got to get married at our own venue after we purchased it in 2021! So we know the venue because it’s our home, our business but also where we started our lives together.
How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
Our reputation is not done by any means. But if it weren’t for our past couples, friends, family and community members I don’t know how we would do this year to year. We get so many referrals and it is incredibly humbling when people show up and share with us who recommend us. And we take that very seriously and know that high standard we create we have to continue in honor of all of those who keep sending new couples, corporate events, community events and more! So we owe all of our continued growth and success to them! We are hoping for 2025 to be the best year yet!
