Marquette, appreciate you joining us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
Being in multiple marriages that resulted in divorce, when I was able to heal, that was the time I was able to win! My mission is to help others get to a healing place so they can also win!

I am a talented, speaker, and advocate for personal growth and resilience. With my powerful book “Divorced But Not Defeated,” I share my journey of overcoming the challenges of divorce and finding strength to thrive beyond. Through my personal anecdotes, practical advice, and motivational insights, I empower readers to embrace their new chapter with courage, hope, and grace. My Winning Women faith-based course is from my transformative path of healing, growth, and empowerment in the face of adversity, and will inspire others to find their own resilience and inner strength. I continually work to serve as a beacon of light for those facing difficult times, by offering guidance and support to navigate life’s challenges with grace.
Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
My journey through multiple marriages, and overcoming childhood trauma, shame, fear, and not having accountability. Having the resiliency to not only face these issues, but to continue through when challenges arose both emotionally and relationally.
What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
I had to unlearn selfishness and the “I” mentality.
