Hillary, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Can you talk to us about a project that’s meant a lot to you?

So blessed to be on the TV Show “Gospel Music” which airs nationally June 29th – September 15th! It means so much to me as a Christian Music Artist to be able to have a prayer song I wrote called “Protect” make it on TV! To God the Glory! Special thanks Frank Badami & Lisha Rigney. The episode stars Pastor Jason Nelson, Anthony Brown, Bri Babineaux, Sherwin Gardner, Melissa Bethea, Ethan Kent, Dante Bowe, Lucinda Moore, Jeff Roberson with NuLife and Hillary Hawkins. Also blessed to be a part of “Neighborhood Watch” by Christin Jezak. I play the part of Laurie, a college kid in the neighborhood, and absolutely love how the series seems to really embody Matthew 22:39.

Last but not least, there’s “Actors Anonymous Hotline”, my baby. I believe people who have an interest in TV Series such as “Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV” will have an appreciation for quite a few episodes… My many hats on “Actors Anonymous Hotline” include: Creator, Showrunner, Writer, Director, Producer, Casting Director, Music Supervisor, Editor & Lead Actress Sunny Love, here to make everyday “sunny and full of love.” We have over 90 actors on the series that have blessed us with their talent. So thankful!

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

I was a child actor. Most people know me for my work on Nickelodeon. I was Kate on Nickelodeon’s “Are You Afraid of the Dark?”, the singing voice of Vanessa on Nickelodeon’s “Gullah Gullah Island” and also was on TV everyday introducing cartoons such as “Dora The Explorer”, “Bob The Builder” & “Little Bill” as Host of Nick Jr. I also worked as a live events Host for Radio Disney, performed in a few National Tours with TheaterWorksUSA, and am currently making a living as a voice actor.

I’m the voice of Amal in the Emmy® Award-Winning Series “Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal” (Cartoon Network Studios), worked as an ADR Voice Actor for “The Chi”, “Black Lightning”, Marvel’s “Luke Cage”, Tyler Perry’s “Acrimony” and more. Also have done voice-overs for UNICEF, World Bank, World Health Organization, Verizon, AT&T, Kellogg’s, Lego, Pac-12, Jim Casey Youth, Louisiana Department of Children & Family Services and American Red Cross, to name a few.

My voice is very versatile and clients in need of children’s voices, little girl voices, kid boy voices, teen voices, young adult voices, diverse voices come to me. As a voice actor, I get hired to do American Accents, British Accents, Native American Accents, African Accents, Latin American Accents, Black Accents, Caribbean Accents & more. People hire me to voice act and sing in English, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Swahili etc. God has blessed me with a wide variety of gifts and talents and I want to share them with the world!
