Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Chandler Oriente. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Chandler , thanks for joining us today. We’d love to have you retell us the story behind how you came up with the idea for your business, I think our audience would really enjoy hearing the backstory.
I always enjoyed taking photos after taking my first photography class in highschool. When I was in college, I did it as a side job while going to school. The last year of undergrad, covid hit and that really shut down the world. It derailed some of my plans to go to future schooling. I decided to pick up my camera the following year and peruse a fun hobby of mine, full time.

Chandler , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
It’s hard to stand out now with so many people taking photos nowadays. What I’m bringing to my clients are the best photos that will help sell their products. Whether it’s swim apparel, clothes, products, you name it. Photography for me goes beyond the images. I want to create an experience that they won’t forget. Whether that’s bringing a certain feeling of nostalgia or having a great time on location.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
I have a hate, love relationship with social media. I love the aspect that it’s a very good business tool for brands to see your work. However, on the downside, I dislike spending so much time on my phone. I think it’s a double edge sword. But, I’ve had so many clients reach out through social media, it’s something that you can’t leave out of your business. I strongly believe it’s more important now to have social media over a website even. At least for photographers, videographers or any other creatives. Hardly anyone now, will as to see your website. Rather, asking for your handle or @.

We’d love to hear about how you keep in touch with clients.
Maintaining relationships is the number 1 importance. I think in all business, it’s all about who you know and your connections. If you maintain a good relationship with your clients, they will want to come back. This goes outside the scope of business and just being a reliable person is a huge part of this world. No one wants to be that person that can’t be depended on for anything. The same is true with business. Your own success is dependent on how well you maintain the relationship with the brand or client you’re working with.
