We recently connected with Dr. Meshia Miller and have shared our conversation below.
Dr. Meshia, appreciate you joining us today. Can you open up about a risk you’ve taken – what it was like taking that risk, why you took the risk and how it turned out?
The scariest but most necessary risk I have taken was the decision to launch A Chiropractic Hub alongside my business partner and long-time friend, Dr. Dara Geiger. It was a huge risk to create something unprecedented in the chiropractic profession. Together, we founded “A Chiropractic Hub,” the first-ever coworking space exclusively for chiropractors. The impact we are having in our community inspires us daily.
The concept of a shared workspace had been on our minds for years. However, despite our clear vision, we lacked access to funding. The COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, with its isolation and economic uncertainty, made our path clear. We realized the necessity of creating a coworking community that could thrive even in the face of another economic crisis, by working together and supporting one another.
So with a little push from our peers, we took an even bigger risk by applying for and successfully securing a business loan through Invest Atlanta.
In more ways than one, we are the minority in our profession. Yet, we decided to take the risk and make a significant impact in our community by creating something that is completely transforming the way chiropractors practice.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
Dr. Dara Geiger and I met as classmates at Life University College of Chiropractic. As early chiropractic students, we began brainstorming ways to create a business that would support ourselves, other chiropractors, and serve the community. A Chiropractic Hub’s mission is to provide affordable and flexible office space solutions for chiropractors and to serve the community through health and wellness. Since our launch in 2023, the concept has been well received by both patients and doctors. One of the greatest misconceptions about the Hub is that it is a space only for new doctors or those who use certain technique styles. In reality, we have a diverse group of highly skilled doctors who have embraced this new model of practicing. Some of our members are opening their third or fourth location with us.
With each new Hub member, we forge bonds between diverse communities, strengthening us as a company and a profession.
Since opening our doors, we have also become home to other holistic professionals, including fitness instructors, yoga instructors, flexologists, and lecturers, among others. We are proud to be pioneering a new way to practice chiropractic care and excited about the positive impact we are making in our community. By bringing together various health and wellness professionals, we are creating a supportive and collaborative environment that benefits both practitioners and patients alike.

Putting training and knowledge aside, what else do you think really matters in terms of succeeding in your field?
Collaborations with other business professionals have been the most helpful in succeeding in our field and the most effective strategy in growing our clientele. Building healthy business relationships with other businesses and community members is vital to success. While we operate as a B2B company, I am incredibly grateful to the leaders in Atlanta who come from diverse backgrounds and business sectors. They have generously shared their wisdom with me. I have learned that the Atlanta community and neighboring cities are truly made up of amazing, knowledgeable individuals who want to see you succeed. When you succeed, we all succeed.
This belief is woven into the fabric of A Chiropractic Hub. The chiropractors who are members of A Chiropractic Hub have shared our business with others through word of mouth, and they have leveraged their influence on social media to reach people in ways that we could not have achieved on our own. When one of us does well, we all do. When one of us looks good, we all do—we all benefit. This is the essence of community.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
The journey of launching A Chiropractic Hub is a testament to resilience, determination, and community support. As students and classmates, Dr. Dara Geiger and I often dreamt of creating a business, we now fondly refer to as “The Hub.” Even though we were faced with challenges every step of the way, we kept pushing to make our vision a reality.
Our journey was not without challenges. For starters, the concept of a shared workspace for chiropractors had never been done before, securing funding was a challenge, and finding a suitable brick-and-mortar location almost seemed impossible. Despite the obstacles, we persevered. We were often told no, faced countless prospective office locations that didn’t work out, and encountered buildings priced outside our budget. We still managed to raise our own capital and secured for additional funding through Invest Atlanta. This financial support was crucial, but it was the unwavering belief in our vision and the encouragement from our community that kept us going.
Through all the challenges, our commitment to our mission has never wavered. We are pioneering a new way to practice chiropractic care, and the impact we are making inspires us daily. Our story is one of resilience, driven by a shared vision and the support of a community that believes in the power of collaboration. With the continued support of our community, we can make A Chiropractic Hub a name to remember and a trusted brand that people associate with change, community, and wellness.
