At times I thought about if I made the right decision since I didn’t go the traditional agency route and becoming an agent’s assistant, coordinator, mailroom employee.
Navigating the complexities of the entertainment industry required more than just business acumen; it demanded a genuine connection with people. Whether it was cultivating relationships with talent agencies, casting directors, or production companies, I prioritized being personable, reliable, and someone that people enjoyed working with. These qualities not only earned myself a reputation as a trusted collaborator but also paved the way for meaningful partnerships that would shape the future of Emagine Content and along the way, bookings for clients and being able to pitch in front of major studios and production companies.
Of course, no journey is without its challenges. From overcoming skepticism as a newcomer to navigating the intricacies of an ever-evolving industry, I faced obstacles at every turn. Yet, it was precisely these challenges that fueled my determination to succeed. Each setback served as a lesson, strengthening my resolve to push boundaries and defy expectations as an Asian American in the industry.

My career in the entertainment industry began at Credence Entertainment, a boutique management company where I honed my skills in talent management and developed a passion for nurturing diverse voices.
