Hi Jeannie, thanks for joining us today. Alright, so you had your idea and then what happened? Can you walk us through the story of how you went from just an idea to executing on the idea.

When I started Jewels by charles it was simply a hobby that begin with me picking out gorgeous pieces for family and friends. The moment I realized I would be able to bring joy and even tears to my brides faces after revealing their final look before walking down the aisle brings joy to my heart. When I begin to realize that a passion that I had as a child would be able to become the ultimate dream job. I sat down and started thinking of the perfect name and that is when Jewels by Charles was born. in order to turn Jewels by Charles into a full-time business I knew I had to create a presence in the social media world as well as begin branding and creating a logo that would represent my company. It was not always easy starting a business from scratch and there have been moments where I wanted to give up due to not being familiar with how to create a website or even how to advertise properly in order to attract clients but I never gave up and always pushed forward knowing that failure was not an option and that being consistent would definitely pay off. Nonetheless, we started with few followers and now we continue to grow each and every day while our pieces are being worn by beautiful brides across the United States.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers?

My name is JEANNIE charles and I am a mother to two beautiful boys and also a dog lover. I am a full-time Clinical social worker and love to help people each and every day. I found myself in the bridal industry after years of assisting family and friends with their weddings, bridal shower and even finding the perfect jewelry for their special occasion. However, what made me realize my potential was one particular family member who was getting married in 2 days and she did not have any jewelry to go with her dress and at that moment she begin to panic not knowing where she would be able to find that perfect jewelry. I made it my duty to not only find her that perfect piece which I did but something she could wear even after her wedding. At Jewels by Charles we provide all brides with the ultimate premium service knowing that we will provide you with the best and unique bridal jewelry and headpieces that you will forever cherish even after your wedding day.

How did you build your audience on social media?

There are several ways that I was able to grow followers on my social media platforms and one of them was attending networking events and collaborating with others that are in the bridal industry such as photographers, makeup artist, bridal stylist and even venue mangers. Networking allows you to meet new people and build relationships as well.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?

I would say providing the best customer service to my brides have helped build my reputation within the Bridal industry as well as referrals from other brides to their family and friends and colleagues within the bridal industry have referred their clients to me after building relationships from previous networking events
