Hi Tavaris, thanks for joining us today. Can you tell us the backstory behind how you came up with the idea?

n 2009, the birth of my first child inspired me to want to capture lasting memories of his childhood. With my newly purchased camera, I began to enjoy the beauty of what I was capturing. I then started studying and learning about photography and visual arts. Since that day, I have used my vision to help others capture those same lasting memories that I have been able to love!

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

My name is Tavaris Gary. I am a native of Fort Myers, FL. Graduate of Middle TN State University with a degree in Business and Finance. I am the proud owner of TRG Photography, a company that I started back in 2018.I have been shooting and teaching photography for the last 14yrs. I am also a certified Adobe photoshop instructor.
The photography services that I provide range from weddings, family photos, senior portraits and business branding.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?

My mission and goal for TRG Photography is to grow it into a large company. I want TRG to be a household name nationwide. I want to create jobs, and teach others how to pursue their creative dreams in photography and digital art.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

In today’s media and social media platforms, visuals are key. When I first started to market TRG I wanted to put together a strategy that included visuals of my services. My niche market was weddings portraits. I wanted my audience to know that weddings were my thing. I made sure that whenever I would work a wedding I would be sure to post a mini movie reel displaying the day alone with some sample shots of the wedding. Even though social media is free advertising, I find purchase and ad very helpful with selling your business.
