Rayah Hope , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. What do you think it takes to be successful?
The simple answer is hard work, but in my opinion trust is far more important. Trust yourself, trust your partners, trust your employees, & trust your intuition. As a multidisciplinary creative I’ve had to make loads of decisions along the way & trusting my gut has always been the most rewarding. As a business owner, creating a strong team & a sturdy foundation for your team allows you to trust every aspect of your business & allows you to grow even more!

Rayah Hope is a multidisciplinary artist, founder of RayahHope Creative, & co-founder of What’s Up Coffee from a little town in Louisiana. She specializes in simplistic, modern approaches to freelance art & photography — particularly in taking special moments & making them into pieces that you can keep forever. She believes we were created to create & share those creations! She also has the pleasure of running What’s Up Coffee in her home town with her family. Their goal was to create a space that feels like home. Many customers have shared the peace they feel when they walk in through the doors.
What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
Seeing the joy in peoples’ faces & hearing the story behind why they chose their piece is extremely rewarding.
Do you have any insights you can share related to maintaining high team morale?
Build an uplifting, live-giving culture inside and outside of work. Create a business and environment that attracts high quality people where people can connect and build relationships.
