Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Bert Django. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Bert , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What’s been the most meaningful project you’ve worked on?

I would love to talk about my new single ‘Getting Stronger’ one of the best recordings I’ve done so far. Its a gritty, hard rock song with a vintage flair reminiscent of band like Cream and Black Sabbath

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

Hi there! My name is Bert Django, I’m a guitarist and a singer/songwriter performing mostly in Las Vegas. These high gas prices have me stuck in Sin City, but I can’t complain if your a musician Vegas is the place to be. I have a three-piece band we play mostly classic rock covers and I’ll throw in an original song every now and then. Growing up the three piece band was always my favorite, Hendrix, Cream even newer artist like Jared James Nichols. The three piece has a certain kind of space that allows you hear the subtleties of every instrument. Every member has to be a virtuoso because with only three people you’re gonna hear everything they play.

I think what sets us apart from other bands is we have a very broken down almost naked approach basically butt naked. People do too much these days with guitar effects and fancy computer sounds its all good and fun but at the end of the day nothing sounds better than a guitar going straight into a marshal amp no pedal board or bs to get in the way.

How can we best help foster a strong, supportive environment for artists and creatives?

Listen to music and go to concerts! if you love a band go see them and support them. Its never been easy for bands so we always appreciate the love and support from everyone.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?

My passion for Blues and Rock n Roll is what drives me. I love playing the classics and sharing that experience with people.

One of my favorite bands is Black Sabbath they are definitely one of my inspirations, and that’s pretty clear in my new single ‘Getting Stronger’. It sounds like good old fashioned hard rock, and nothing makes me happier.
