We were lucky to catch up with Jeff Yukikazu Sera recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Jeff Yukikazu, thanks for joining us today. If you had a defining moment that you feel really changed the trajectory of your career, we’d love to hear the story and details.
For 5 years I couldn’t cry. I set out on a journey of self-awareness to begin my healing journey. It lead me to the path I am now on.
Psilocybin was also a catalyst in connecting me to the energy of Reiki allowing me to heal others.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
Jeff is a Self-Development Sensei and Reiki Practitioner who empowers you to fast-track the journey of healing your body, mind, and spirit through holistic, motivational support. He works with anyone ready to step into the deeper self-development work to heal at the core, supporting every facet of your life and experience – career, health, love life … Jeff guides you to that integration through the journey away from self-limiting beliefs and self-sabotage. As you unlock new depths of healing and happiness on this journey, Jeff supports you in developing self-worth, self-respect, and self-confidence to create ease and fulfillment as you discover your authentic self.

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
That I have to try really hard. That hard work is hard and that things need to be difficult.
The backstory is that I didn’t believe that things could come easy or that I had gifts or talents that allowed certain things to be easier for me than for others. I self sabotaged and would make everything harder and more difficult for myself.

Training and knowledge matter of course, but beyond that what do you think matters most in terms of succeeding in your field?
Never giving up. Viewing each “failure’ as a lesson that gives you more experience and wisdom. In that way you can never fail. Only learn and grow.
