In the whirlwind of our second year at Events by Genevieve, we got a call that could have sent us running for the hills. A media company, wanting to capitalize on a surge in popularity, reached out with a seemingly impossible task: plan a three-day food and wine festival in just one month. They were upfront – they had nothing figured out. Panic could have easily set in, but instead, we saw an opportunity to showcase our resilience and collaborative spirit.

Here’s where the magic happened. We knew we couldn’t do it alone. We immediately reached out to our trusted network of vendors – the same ones we treat with respect and kindness at every wedding. The response was overwhelming. Caterers, musicians, artists, and even volunteers – everyone rallied behind the project. Fueled by shared passion and a dash of controlled chaos, brainstorming sessions became nightly rituals. We drew inspiration from the past events, the surrounding landscape, and of course, the exquisite wines themselves.
