We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Reese Sabatini-Blake. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Reese below.
Reese , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Was there a defining moment in your professional career? A moment that changed the trajectory of your career?
The largest defining moment for me would be becoming hemiplegic and legally blind as a teen. Overcoming the hemiplegia as a teen gave me the story for my bestselling debut novel Paralysis: Beating the Odds, while also broadening my desired area of experience

Reese , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I use my training as an indigenous medicine woman and my background in high risk social work to help women and men overcome trauma without the use of drugs or pharmaceuticals. I have group programs, but the most gainful work in the field is done in my 3,6, and 12 month 1 to 1 options.
I am most proud of the specialized techniques to help clients in reprocessing and releasing their trauma without creating more harm or turmoil in the process. This has helped me as a practitioner to shorten the length of time it takes a person to work through the majority of their big “t” trauma.

Do you think you’d choose a different profession or specialty if you were starting now?
Yes, even in the hardest times. I love my ability to approach mental health from a truly holistic approach while also helping clients implement modern day tools to manage their symptoms.

Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
For me personally I have met my most dedicated clients through my speaking engagements and my books, which I never suspected when my current published books share more of my personal story than anything else, but my full methodology will be released later this year.
