Pursuing a creative or artistic career can certainly be fulfilling, but it’s far from certain. Over the years, we’ve heard about the struggles from thousands of artists and creatives – it’s incredibly challenging and it can be tempting to wonder – what if you hadn’t pursued this path. Upper Reality

I am happy as an artist. I am happy because I make all my mistakes for myself, I struggle for myself, I stress about my own affairs and that primarily, and I fail and succeed at my own thing. I used to wonder what a regular job would be like, but oftentimes I’ll go to parties with friends or get-togethers and hear them talk, and all they have to talk about is flexes and achievements and one-upping each other–it’s a really toxic lifestyle that my spirit is incompatible with.
