Alright, Trae thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?

For music, back in summer 2010, I released my first official track, entitled “iBLAZE” via Facebook. The immense feedback I received from my friends and family gave me the confirmation and confidence to want to pursue music as a career.
As far as graphic design, I knew once I started enjoying what I was creating, and my circle was in awe of my skill level. I’ve been blessed to work with so many people over the years, and some still till this day.

Trae, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

Sure thing. For those who don’t know, my name is Trae Perry. I’m a recording artist and graphic designer, based out of Houston, Texas. I’ve been blessed to be involved in the arts since birth; from picking up pencils and paintbrushes at the age of 6, to exploring various musical instruments shortly afterwards.

My journey has been shaped by influential artists such as Drake, J. Cole, Travis Scott, Kendrick Lamar, Trip Lee, and Andy Mineo. Their dedication to their craft and the depth of their music have inspired me immensely.
What sets me apart is my ability to seamlessly blend music and graphic design. Whether I’m crafting a melody or designing visuals, I approach each project with meticulous attention to detail, offering both perspective and aesthetic.

I take immense pride in my music discography and the impact it has had on my audience. As my following continues to grow, I aspire to inspire others through my work, serving as a source of creativity and insight in all aspects of life. My journey is a testament to the power of passion and perseverance in the pursuit of artistic excellence.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?

My ultimate goal in life is entrepreneurship. I want to be able to create my own lifestyle, and show other creatives in the world that it’s possible to make a living off your talents.

How can we best help foster a strong, supportive environment for artists and creatives?

I think they can support us by, attending our events, sharing us on social media (for free lol), and wearing our merchandise. Those three things mainly. Other than that, continue streaming the music, use it in your own content, and continue staying by our side, because we need y’all more than you know.
