Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Brianna Cunningham . We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Brianna, thanks for joining us today. When did you first know you wanted to pursue a creative/artistic path professionally?
Hello, I’m Brianna Cunningham, and I’m embarking on an exciting new journey in content creation. My passion for this creative path began in high school when I discovered the world of influencers on YouTube, particularly those focused on makeup and beauty. Back then, I dreamed of starting my own YouTube channel to share glimpses of my life in a vlog-style format.
However, my parents, who were quite strict, were apprehensive about me being online in such a public manner, as they didn’t fully grasp the potential of the internet. Despite these challenges, my desire to create content remained strong.
After graduating from college, I felt the urge to give content creation another try. Yet, I was confronted with the common misconception that it was “too late” to start. Determined to prove this notion wrong, I took the leap.
My educational background is in Baking and Pastry Arts, and during the challenging times of COVID-19, I decided to leverage my baking skills by creating a dedicated page for my baking content. Over the course of three years, I nurtured this business, honing my social media skills and changing my perspective on content creation.
This shift in mindset led me to create my GIRl IM TIRED page, where I focus on sharing genuine content, giving back to the community, and cultivating a safe space online. As a wife and mother of two beautiful children, I’ve discovered that there is an ongoing need for authentic voices and positive, uplifting content.
This journey has been transformative for me, instilling a newfound confidence to share what truly brings me joy, break stigmas, and refine my craft. I’m excited about the future and the opportunity to connect with others through my content.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
As a content creator who is passionate about providing genuine and relatable content for my audience, my journey into content creation began in high school when I discovered the world of influencers on YouTube, particularly those focused on makeup and beauty. Despite facing initial restrictions from my parents, I continued to be drawn to the creative and expressive nature of online content.
Inspired by my experiences and the need for more genuine content online, I created the GIRl IM TIRED page. Here, I focus on providing content that is not only entertaining but also relatable and authentic. I believe in using my platform to give back to the community and create a safe space for people to connect and share their experiences.
What sets me apart from others is my dedication to creating meaningful content that resonates with my audience. I take pride in my ability to create content that is both entertaining and thought-provoking, and I strive to provide a positive and uplifting experience for my followers.
I am most proud of the community that has formed around my brand. I have been able to connect with people from all walks of life and create a supportive and inclusive space where everyone feels welcome. My main goal is to continue to provide content that inspires and uplifts others, and I am excited to see where this journey takes me.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
My creative journey is driven by a deep-seated belief in giving back and supporting others, rooted in my own experiences as a young mother who has relied on help from others. I’ve noticed a trend where many people achieve success but forget to give back to those who supported them along the way. I want to break this cycle and ensure that my journey comes full circle by using my platform to help as many people as possible.
Through my content, I aim to show real-life experiences and challenges, highlighting the importance of authenticity and empathy. I believe that by sharing my story and experiences, I can connect with others who may be going through similar struggles and offer them support and encouragement.
My ultimate goal is to create a community where people feel empowered to share their stories and support one another. I want my page to be a place of positivity and kindness, where everyone feels welcome and supported. By helping others, I hope to inspire them to pay it forward and create a ripple effect of kindness and compassion.

Looking back, are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?
Yes, there are several resources I wish I had known about earlier in my creative journey. Networking with people and building relationships within the industry has been incredibly valuable. Connecting with other creators, mentors, and professionals has opened up opportunities for collaboration, learning, and growth.
I also wish I had known more about the business side of content creation, such as branding, marketing, and monetization strategies. Understanding these aspects earlier on could have helped me navigate the industry more effectively and potentially achieve success more quickly.
One resource that has had a profound impact on me is the book “Atomic Habits” by James Clear. This book has helped me understand the power of habits and how small changes can lead to significant improvements in my creative work and life in general.
Another valuable lesson I’ve learned is the importance of staying grounded and authentic. When I feel overwhelmed by social media or the pressures of the industry, I find it helpful to take a break and go touch grass. This simple act helps me reconnect with nature and recenter myself.
Overall, I’ve found that staying genuine and not falling into societal trends has been key to staying true to myself and my creative vision. These resources and practices have been invaluable in my journey, and I wish I had known about them earlier.
