Shanell, appreciate you joining us today. Was there a moment in your career that meaningfully altered your trajectory? If so, we’d love to hear the backstory.

I have been devoted to Spiritual work for 10 years. Over that timespan the face of that has changed many times. I’n the beginning I was passionate, and carried the gusto I needed in order to show up for others in a way that would help guide & support them to their life goals. But, what I did not realize at the time was how I was not aligning my self worth when it came to how I was offering what I was offering, and the price of those services. But, my aim was to help and I felt that, that was the best route for me to take at the time. This led to much burnout & bitterness. I did not extend the proper boundaries necessary in such intimate work, and made myself too available for others. Yet, I loved it not having the foresight needed to protect my time & well being.

When I met my now husband I was able to take a break. And, it wasn’t until I stopped did I realize the harmful environment I had created for myself. So, I took sometime for myself. Took classes to expand my knowledge on herbal preparations, essentials oil, holistic health, & even went to culinary school which was really just for fun. In between all of this I became a mother, and my awareness began to open up when it came to needs of the family, the community, and the legacy that I would be leaving my children with.

It was in that span of time that brought to a place of truly understanding where my heart was in the support that I offer. From there I set out on focusing on the health of women & our babies, and further down the line incorporating gifts of divination & rootworking. While remembering that always taking care of my mental, emotional, & physical well-being was just as important as my ability to be of service to others.

It took me quite sometime to find the right balance for me, but it first came with choosing the right platform, scheduling, and self care to sustain me in all roles in my life.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

I am a 33yr old stay at home, homeschooling wife & mother. I own Lizzie’s Charm with my husband. Serving the community through Spiritual support & tools to help support in personal self care & development.

Since my last interview things have changed a bit as I have been finding the right timing & platform to be present within all my duties. This led me to creating a space on Patreon with options of learning Tarot, Astrology, Womb Wellness, Conjure/Spellwork, & offer sessions of Hypnotherapy building a space for us to connect as a group & offering one on one support where needed. Along with leaving personal Divination & Rootwork/Conjure healing available on my website.

On Patreon we go into the full scope of Tarot from symbols, numerology, timing, and meaning of each card. In the Astro portion a workbook is received for you to connect with and get to know your full Astrology chart with support of course with break down of placement of the zodiac signs, planets, and houses associated. The Womb Wellness supports the woman in connection with her personal menstrual cycle & rhythm she flows in because it’s truly much more then that time of the month. I am a certified Hypnotherapist so there is an option to receive a hypnosis session once a month to support in moving through any subconscious blocks. Along with a tier to offer support in connection with your Ancestors & personal folk magic practice, because we all have some living within us.

On Lizzie’s Charm website various types personal Tarot readings can booked. There’s an option there for everyone. And, personal Conjure & Rootwork can be acquired there as well. For those who are not familiar Conjure/Rootwork is a practice that works with & invokes nature and the spirits that live within it to bring support and benevolent change in another’s life. Whether that is love, money, health, or simply peace of mind by removing what has bogged you down on a spirit level.

We recently closed the store which carries many Conjure products, but will be reopening that in the months to come with new curios in small batches.

What we offer is rare & unique. But, not uncommon. And, if you look around you may see all of these practice showing up in our daily lives more and more.

Other than training/knowledge, what do you think is most helpful for succeeding in your field?

I believe that learning to truly trust in yourself is most important when working in matters of spirit, and having a general sense of faith.

If you don’t trust nor believe in yourself when it comes to working with people on a spiritual level, or in any practice for that matter that will translate over into not only what you give, but the clients trust in you as well. People can pick up on shaky energy and being grounded in my own is the best remedy for anything of the sort.

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?

I have found that honesty and sharing my personal experiences in life has been effective in growing my clientele. This is something that comes very natural to me, and I love being able to share the life lessons, and understanding I have come into. Through this have found that when others can relate to you it touches them in a way that encourages them to want to connect, and work with you. And, builds a sense of trust with me & my services.
