We recently connected with Jeda Sky and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Jeda, thanks for joining us today. Do you wish you had started sooner?
Well, to be honest, I started and it’s industry very young around 14 years old, but I wish I realized that I did not want to be an actual artist a lot sooner. I love being behind the scenes and helping other artists reach their goals. If I knew then what I know now, I feel that I could’ve helped so many more artists and aspiring music professionals.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I started as an artist around the age of 14 in Virginia. As I got older, I realize that Virginia wasn’t the best place to really learn the industry so I move to Atlanta in 2011 and started to build my network by making a name for myself as an artist. Then one day it just hit me, I didn’t really wanna be an artist. I don’t really care for the lime light, but I do enjoy being able to put the pieces together and assisting in making other creatives dreams their actual reality. I created Strato Entertainment Group to do just that. At Strato Entertainment Group we offer all of your entertainment needs from recording to consultations, product development, artist development and so much more valuable information needed to help independent and up-and-coming artist in creating momentum for their careers. I’ve also founded a Nonprofit geared towards fueling the natural creative abilities of our youth called Nahnie’s Heart. Lastly my most recent addition to Strato Entertainment Group is Thee Coronation, which is a platform to help expand and grow awareness for up-and-coming independent artists.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?
Yes, there is. I believe my purpose is to teach and guide the next generation of creative leaders. It’s my duty to show them the right way. To help them build community amongst each other , to show them by example that there is enough room for everyone and that there is no harm in helping others. This industry can be full of greed, animosity, bitterness and lack of morals if you are just in it for the fame and fortune, but I believe that this can change if we have enough industry professionals willing to teach and give back with pure intentions instead of jaded ones. I can’t speak for everyone but this is my perspective.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
The most rewarding aspect for me, is knowing The information and value that I poured into an artist I’m working with or a client has saved that person from years of trial and error as well as roadblocks and speed bumps that they no longer have to hit. I just want to be for them everything I needed for myself when I was in their shoes.
