Alright, Rissa thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. What sort of legacy are you hoping to build. What do you think people will say about you after you are gone, what do you hope to be remembered for?

The legacy I am building is something that has and will continue to develop over time. When I was a child, dreaming about what I would be when I grew up, I often imagined myself singing on a stage like Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey or giving an inspirational speech and walking through a crowd of people like Princess Diana. I always knew I wanted to build a name for myself and leave an influential mark on society. As I got older, I experienced many challenges and traumas that led me to temporarily abandon myself and my dreams. I began numbing my emotional turmoil with substance abuse and other toxic distractions that left me completely emptied. After four years of self sabatoge, I hit rock bottom and was arrested. I was faced with a fork in the road, forced to decide what direction I was going to allow my life to go. It was then that I truly woke up to my purpose and the legacy I wanted to build. I remembered my inner child excitement for creativity, my natural intuitive gifts and my passionate drive to be a light in this world. I chose love. I chose confidence. I chose alignment. I knew at that moment that my choices to evolve were the same choices I would inspire others to make. I knew that if I could overcome my pain and rise above my recklessness, I would have the wisdom to support the world through the same journey. I am now over 13 years released from my substance abuse, realigned to my intuitive gifts, and fully attuned to my soul power. Through my musical creative expression, my professional intuitive services, and my supportive empathetic personality, I hope to continue building a legacy of light, love and leadership. I want to be remembered for being a person of integrity, a nurturing spirit, an intuitive guide and an impactful musical artist. I want to help people transform their lives for the better and become their best selves from the inspiration they receive from my work. I want to be recognized in history for making the world a more conscious, considerate and creative place.

Rissa, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

I have quite the multifaceted journey into my line of work as an intuitive guide and intentional music artist. My lifelong experience in connecting with the Spirit world and my extensive research on the expansive study of Metaphysics, The Law of Attraction and conscious creative expression has allowed me to be a teacher & leader for many seekers of esoteric knowledge. My business, Love Unconditional LLC, offers Energy Attunement Sessions, Spiritual Development Mentoring and a variety of Intuitive Readings, counseling services, retreats and workshops for anyone interested in discovering more about their life path, soul purpose and expression of authenticity.

I first became aware of my gifts when I was only 7 years old with visitations from my passed on loved ones, angels seen hovering over my friends and family and strong impulses to deliver profound intuitive messages to those I felt would benefit from my advice. However, these gifts felt scary and confusing to me at that time, I didn’t know how to control my sensitivities or what I was supposed to do with them and as a result, I suppressed them with fear and doubt at the age of 12. It wasn’t until I was in my early 20s, after earning my degree in psychology while overcoming what one would call a ‘dark night of the soul’ challenge with addiction and anxiety, that I began to reawaken to my gifts through a newly found affinity with metaphysical and esoteric research. It didn’t take long for me to realize that everything in my path is orchestrated for a purpose and that I was meant to experience all that I did, the ups and downs, to give me the wisdom and clarity to no longer suppress or hide, but to share, teach and encourage the awakening of not only my gifts but the gifts that everyone in the world possess! Thus, I began living my purpose, leaving the more corporate counseling career behind to begin walking in my entirety as an Intuitive, guide and mentor.

I now spread my knowledge through private sessions as well as public teachings as a gifted motivational speaker & guide presenting my audience from all over the world, a vast array of esoteric topics and events including Intuitive Development, Multidimensional & Cosmic Consciousness and Channeling. I add balance to my approach with a degree in Psychology and prior experience as a behavioral health counselor, offering a clear communication of spiritualist teachings that cater to both the left and right brain as well as real world experience.

In regards to my music career, I’ve been singing my whole life! Once I started waking up spiritually and making music about my life’s journey, I joined a soul funk band for 6 years and then started releasing music on my own in 2017. I released my first album in 2018 called ‘Spirit Junkie’ showcasing my journey from addiction to spiritual evolution and then I released my second album ‘Hippie Vixen’ in 2021. My music is what I call ‘Hippie Soul’ and is imbued with messages of transcendence, transmutation & triumph. My biggest single has over 1.3 M streams on Spotify and is a call to all the light workers of the world to unite in order to help make this world a better place. I’m currently working on my new album ‘Trap Alchemist’ and it’s going to be a powerful creative work with featured artists such as Chris N Teeb, Mello Will, Peachkka, Illuminati Congo and more! It’s set to release on 8/8/24!

How did you build your audience on social media?

My start on social media was very unconventional. I was meditating regularly and feeling more and more intuitive with my awareness of life. As I deepened my practice, I began receiving clarity on my calling to serve the community with my intuitive gifts. One day I had a strong impulse to share the messages that I received from my meditations on Instagram. I didn’t think too much about it and just decided to start speaking to the camera after my mediations everyday and after a few months of consistency, I had gained nearly 7k followers and had regular engagement with my content. I started a youtube channel after that and started hosting weekly live readings which also increased my audience and created consistent clientele for my 1:1 intuitive services.

My advice for those starting out on social media is to not to overthink it. Just be yourself and do something that feels natural and fun to you. Then, just stay consistent! It will gain traction from there!

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?

I recently hit the 10 year mark of having my business and for the first time experienced what I can best describe as burnout. I spent a few weeks barely hanging on and a few months seriously considering following a new path. I felt depleted and exhausted from many years of holding space for others and juggling multiple streams of service at once. All I wanted to do was sleep and relax but I also felt that I couldn’t do that without risking the career I worked so hard to achieve. I didn’t know what to do. I tried to find new ways to gain momentum and reignite my energy but it seemed like everything I did just made me more tired. After trying several methods, I honestly just gave up. I had been beating myself up about it which drained me even more until I truly just didn’t have the energy to care anymore. This is when I actually found relief. I started trusting in something bigger than what I could do for myself and what I could see for my life and it brought me back to the very thing that got me started on my path to begin with, my faith in what I call Source or Spirit, the Creator of all that is. That is when I started bouncing back from burnout and began feeling excited about my work again. Some people might say that giving up or surrendering like I did is irresponsible, but to me, it was the strongest act of resilience I had ever embodied and it’s literally what saved my business!
