We are very hands on; we have a whole team working behind the scenes to provide concierge style service 24/7. We’re just a quick text, email or phone call away for both families and sitters. Our families are putting their complete trust in us to take care of their children; so being able to reach us with any questions or feedback is vital for building trust, and hopefully leading to our families referring us to their friends!
We’re compared to Care.com a lot, but to be honest – we’re quite different. JAX Sitter interview, trains, and vets all providers. Our team is very on it; calling every member who joins, making sure the providers are held accountable and working to support requests for families. Lastly, we’re easily accessible with our phone number or email. Care.come doesn’t offer any of these features, besides paying an additional fee to be background checked.

I started this business in 2015 in college. While grateful to have so many families reach out to me for babysitting, I only had so much availability. I thought I could better support these families if I had a group of babysitters I could refer to them. Being a student at UNF at the time, I had the perfect network of babysitters. From the get go, we interviewed and background checked all of the sitters. Our initial clients were families that had worked with us before and trusted we would send them someone great. It grew very organically, and quickly, from there.
I am now partnered with Morgan Clark and her Smart Sitter platform. We met serendipitously after working in the same industry for 10 years and together launched JAXSITTER.
