We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Lucas Larvenz. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Lucas below.
Lucas , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Can you talk to us about a project that’s meant a lot to you?
If I had to pick any project that was the most meaningful and impactful to me, it was creating ‘Don’t Want U Back’. I made the song after a rough breakup. I got together in the studio with my good friend Peach Martine and we got the song done in one sitting. Everything flowed and worked so quickly and it felt more personal than anything i’ve ever made. A few months later, this record was my first to surpass a million streams, and it’s almost at 2 million now!

Lucas , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Known as a young musical prodigy in his former years, Lucas Larvenz started honing his craft at the early age of 16. Since then, he has established himself as a contemporary powerhouse within the electronic music community. Born and raised in Miami FL, Lucas’ heavily cultured stomping grounds helped cultivate the expansive signature sounds we know today. His ever-growing catalog currently features remixes of Post Malone, Clean Bandit, and Zara Larsson, as well as a large collection of originals and collaborations.
Lucas’ live show is a truly immersive experience that incorporates flawless mixtures of electronic, future, and pop music. Having shared the stage with Illenium, Dillon Francis, Adventure Club, Diplo, Gryffin, RL Grime, Seven Lions + many more, he is no stranger to the spotlight.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
Ever since I started my musical journey, it was never about the numbers for me. I’ve been blessed to be able to reach millions of people with my music, but as long as one person can listen and be touched by what i’m creating, thats all that matters to me. With every release, I wanna take listeners on a journey through my mind and how I was feeling when I created the record. My hope is that when you hear my songs, it’ll make you feel something, whether it helping get you though a rough time, or get you pumped up for a fun night.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
I think the most rewarding and amazing feeling in the world is being able to play my music out at shows and see peoples reactions live. Looking out into a crowd and seeing people go crazy and having fun to something I created is the biggest high you could ever have as an artist and it’s part of what drives me to keep creating.
