Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Warren Caracciolo. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Warren, appreciate you joining us today. We’d love to go back in time and hear the story of how you came up with the name of your brand?
We are a photo-video company and when we started the business we knew we didn’t want to use our name like everyone else. We felt blah blah name photography seemed to all blend together… So we wanted to do something different. We also knew we wanted to cover most LIFE events, and specifically weddings. We also knew it should be catchy and easy to navigate to, and bonus points if the name was also the website. After trial and error and a few arguments we decided to go with imagery.LIFE. – imagery, because it covers everything under the photo and video umbrella and LIFE because that is what we wanted to cover LIFE
We just won Lehigh Valley style 2024’s best, videographer

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
imagery.LIFE is a “LIFE” photography and videography business, nestled in the heart of The Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania.
About 10 years ago, my wife and I started assisting, second shooting, and editing backlogs for the area’s best photographers. After honing our skills in the wedding industry for a few years, we asked ourselves, “Why don’t we just do this?” So, we launched imagery.LIFE, a photo-video business that collectively covers all facets of the human experience.
While weddings take center stage, our expertise extends far beyond to encompass all of life’s milestones. From intimate family gatherings to the exuberance of high school seniors.
However, what truly sets us apart is our unwavering commitment to transforming a simple photography session into an unforgettable experience. We understand that the idea of being photographed can evoke feelings of unease and apprehension. So, when starting the company, we adopted a unique approach. We wanted to be more than just photographers or videographers. We aim to be your ultimate wingmates, your allies in laughter, and your champions of spontaneity. While dispelling anxiety, we ignite laughter and infuse every moment with warmth and authenticity.
That’s what truly separates us from the competition. It’s our unparalleled blend of professionalism and camaraderie that defines imagery.LIFE. We’re not merely capturing images; we’re crafting memories. Each photograph, each frame, is imbued with the essence of human connection, serving as a timeless reminder of life’s most cherished moments.
We’re not just documenting your story; we’re becoming a part of it.

Any advice for managing a team?
Treat them with respect and reward them for being awesome.
For example every year we have a Christmas party for our team. We host a retreat every year where we rent an Airbnb, take them to the beach, and film a short movie just for fun. Also through out the year we host team-building events and go to escape rooms or see a concert.
On top of that, we have a positive approach to training and support, and in return our team is some of our biggest cheerleaders.

Alright – let’s talk about marketing or sales – do you have any fun stories about a risk you’ve taken or something else exciting on the sales and marketing side?
As mentioned before we do photo and video for weddings. Some people hire us for one or the other, but most people hire us for both.
We went out for drinks with a couple who was courting us a potential wedding videographer. We came highly recommended by our past client, the best friend of the (soon-to-be) bride.
As soon as we sat down with the couple we started chatting. Immediately the bride mentioned that she was only interested in booking us for video because she had already booked her photographer. She made it a point to say “Is that okay?” Because she was nervous just mentioning it to us. as if she was letting us down.
So, of course, I immediately replied and said “no worries! We work well with everyone and we love meeting new photographers!”
Fast forward to the middle of the evening. After a couple of drinks were consumed. In the middle of us all laughing and sharing stories and having an all-around good time the groom stops dead in his tracks, looks at his bride-to-be and goes “How much did we pay that other photographer?” The bride says “I’m not sure I’ll have to check when we get home.” without skipping a beat the groom jumps right in and asks how much it would be to have us do BOTH photo and video. Needless to say, the couple ended up booking us for photo and video coverage at their wedding.
