Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Kendall Muhn. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Kendall, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Do you think your parents have had a meaningful impact on you and your journey?
Growing up in a small town in Tennessee, my parents instilled in me fundamental values that have profoundly shaped my life and career trajectory. Chief among these principles was the importance of fairness in both actions and interactions. From a young age, I learned that accountability and integrity are non-negotiables. If I erred, there were consequences, teaching me the invaluable lesson of taking responsibility for my actions.
Moreover, my parents emphasized the significance of striving for excellence through ethical means. They emphasized that one’s character and treatment of others are paramount assets in any endeavor. This outlook has become my guiding philosophy, informing not only my professional conduct but also my personal interactions.
Upon joining the military at the age of 27, already married with two children, I brought with me a mature perspective rooted in these principles. This enabled me to navigate challenges with resilience and integrity, distinguishing myself amidst a diverse cohort. My upbringing taught me to value authenticity and fairness, qualities that have undoubtedly contributed to my rapid achievement through the ranks and attaining a highly sought after position as the sole United States Air Force Thunderbird Analyst.
In essence, the values instilled by my parents have served as the cornerstone of my character and professional ethos. They have not only guided me in reaching my full potential but have also empowered me to positively influence those around me. I attribute much of my accomplishments to the invaluable lessons imparted by my parents, shaping me into the individual I am today.”

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
Hey there, I’m Kendall Muhn, a small-town country girl who found herself swept off her feet by a high school buddy-turned-Army man. As he embarked on his basic training, I poured my heart into letters every day until we decided to seize the moment and tie the knot during one of his four-day passes (days off), Fast forward 16 years, and here we are, happily married with two beautiful kids.
My career journey? Well, let’s just say it’s been a bit of a winding road. I have dabbled in different majors, but stuck with Business Management since it aligned well with my military career. I have been in nine incredible years since and despite its challenges, I’ve cherished every moment of it, mostly because of all the people you come to meet that you may not have otherwise.
I’ve also been hitting the books hard throughout my career. Two associate degrees, a bachelor’s, and even a master’s degree – talk about a wild academic ride! But let me tell you, every late-night study session was worth it for the growth and opportunities it’s brought me.
Now, stationed with the prestigious United States Air Force Thunderbirds Demonstration Team, this role demands more than just technical know-how – it’s about embodying the core values of the Air Force. And you know what? Despite bouncing around to four different bases, I’ve embraced every new assignment as a chance to grow, personally and professionally.
My journey? It’s all about perseverance, determination, and being that person who lends a hand along the way. And trust me, there’s nothing I love more than making a positive impact wherever life takes me.

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
In the military you don’t really get to pick your clientele, but must uphold a certain demeanor as an Airman. Our core values are integrity first, service before self, and excellence in all we do. Therefore my effective strategy has developed over the years, but with each encounter I have been able to take something away-either good or bad. I think how you treat people is a big deal and you attract more bee’s with honey rather than vinegar or however that saying goes!
What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
Coming from a small town and how I was raised is not how everyone else was, so I guess I have had to reframe how I think others should act if that makes sense. This is not a bad thing, but not everyone has the same thought process or values. Some are fine just doing the minimum, while others have to go 100% or more to feel productive.
