Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Carolyn Osborn. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, Carolyn thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. We love heartwarming stories – do you have a heartwarming story from your career to share?
I have a client who had two dogs, and she was more attached to the younger one than her older dog. The young one followed her everywhere and was her Soul Dog. The two dogs got in a bad fight, and the younger one was hurt so much that they had to put her down. This of course caused much grief, shock, and trauma to my client Amy. She booked a session with me where I was able to help her on several fronts. As an animal communicator, I was able to talk to the dog who had passed and shared with Amy how the dog was doing, that Amy had done nothing wrong, and it was time for the dog to leave as it had finished its purpose with Amy. I was then able to do a session on Amy to help alleviate the trauma and grief which allowed her to see and understand that her dog was still with her energetically. The dog also wanted Amy to spend more time with the other dog and not blame him for what happened. Amy felt so much better after the session that her husband, who does not really believe in this type of work, noticed the change, and improvement, and wanted a session to help him through his grieving process as well. The biggest bonus was that Amy became closer and more in touch with her other dog and now has a much better relationship with him. I have worked on Amy and her other dog a few times since then, and there is a big change and improvement in both of them now for the better.

Carolyn , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I love animals and have always had them around me. Besides dogs and cats, I love horses and have ridden much of my life as a jumper and then dressage rider. I have been a professional violinist all my life, but around 2010 I felt the calling to start working with animals through energy medicine. I have always been attracted to and practiced holistic health care for myself, and through a friend, I discovered energy medicine, and how it is also available for animals. I was hooked and so began my journey into animal communication, energy medicine and Medical Intuitive modalities to support animals energetically. I am a Certified Accunect Practitioner (CAP), Certified Medical Intuitive Practitioner, Animal Communicator, and Animal Energy Practitioner. All of those modalities are integral to my Energy Intuitive work and offerings for clients. I continue to learn and expand my skills. I do all my work virtually, and all over the world. That is one of the benefits of Energy Medicine. Through several of my own animals, I was able to learn the importance and value of energy work for the animals. They are so receptive, love talking with me, (and their person through me) and they gravitate and respond well to the energy work. I have also learned that the animals are here for many reasons; mainly to help their person learn and grow, to support their person by taking on their illnesses or emotional issues to better help their person cope. The animals do this by mirroring their person physically and emotionally, and possibly acting out so it gets their person’s attention. The animals want their person the heal and get better, and when they do, then the animal can let it go themselves. This is where I specialize in working with both animals and people through my Chiron Mirror Program – I focus on both parties to get to the root of the behavior or the issue to assist in the energetic shift so the natural healing can start in both parties.
Other areas I work with are helping the animal and person prepare for the animals crossing the Rainbow Bridge. It helps both to be prepared and in a good place so the passing can go smoothly and easily for both parties. Also, those last communications are so helpful and healing to the person.
My newest product is my Chiron Observer Effect – Group Energy Healing Series. This is a monthly online event where I do a session on one of the animal/person pairs for their immediate needs or issues as a surrogate for the group. I add the focus on a theme, and educate how energy medicine is helpful to both, and through the Quantum Observer Effect, everyone there – people and animals – is participating and receiving the energy from the session. It is very powerful and a great way to learn and experience energy medicine. This is an area that is groundbreaking and unique.
I do individual sessions as well as the group sessions and I am also featured on several podcasts.
Just to explain a bit more about energy healing, energy is the basis of everything and everyone. We are made of energy, and besides our physical form. There are several energy etheric bodies around us that address the emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of bodies. This is why energy work is so effective. The physical body, human or animal, knows how to heal itself, but outside factors such as stress, bad diet, accidents, toxins and even misinformation all throw the body out of sync. By addressing these symptoms or issues early on, the body is then able to heal naturally. The main modality I use is based on TCM, Traditional Chinese Medicine, so very much like acupuncture without the needles.
My business is Called Chiron Energy Medicine, because Chiron was half horse and half human. He was a great Greek Demigod, and he was known as the teacher of the Gods, as well as one of the fathers of holistic health. He also represents the wounded healer, as he was wounded by a poisoned arrow from Hercules from which he could never heal himself. This represents the deep wound(s) we all carry on some level that needs to be addressed to fully heal.
I love my work and the animals really love it. They get it and respond so well. They don’t have the mental doubts most of us humans do!
My ideal clients are usually older, animal lovers and will do anything for their animal. They want to talk to their animal and find out what is going on with them. They are also looking for a more holistic and less invasive approach to healing and correcting behaviors in their animals. My ideal client is also interested in the Soul connection between them and their pet, and how working on themselves can help their animal in many different ways, as well as directly helping them to learn more about themselves.
I have more information on my website.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
I grew up in a family of musicians, became a professional classical violinist (after starting it at age 4) and really thought I would be in that field until I died. That was the plan. About 15 years ago, the music industry here in Los Angeles, where I live and work, took a real downturn. I was not sure if my work was going to continue and the whole entertainment industry was going through a big shift and change. Both of my parents were teachers, my mother a violin teacher, and my father was a conductor and professor at Pepperdine University. I personally did not want to spend my time teaching kids, as that was not my strong suit, so I realized I needed to come up with an alternative plan so I could do something else.
This is when I discovered Energy Medicine and Intuitive work. It was also when I realized I could do this work on and for the animals, and the proverbial light bulb went off in my mind! I have always been interested in holistic health for myself and have been going to a chiropractor for years. The one I saw at that time was also into this “new” energy work and she introduced me to BodyTalk and then Accunect – two fabulous energy medicine modalities that are based on Chinese Medicine and the Five Element theory. I was hooked and I thus started my journey down this new path to where I am today. I have continued to work as a violinist and still do, but I am looking at retiring from my music career in the next few years to do this wonderful energy work full time. I see so many of my music colleagues who don’t have a plan or other ideas as they cannot continue performing, and I am glad I followed that new path to where I am today. It has not been easy starting from scratch after loving what I do, but I saw the writing on the wall and took the next steps to start an equally exciting and satisfying new career.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
The lesson I had to learn was patience, you can’t force things to happen, timing is a key factor in good results.
As I mentioned before, I started playing the violin at age four, and it was instilled in me from that early age that I must practice until it is perfect. Even if I was tired, sore, didn’t want to, etc. According to many of my violin teachers, I had to suffer for my part and expertise. This approach can work in some ways, but it is really unattainable, and you can injure yourself from overuse of the body and mental overwhelm. I was never good enough. This was my modus operandi for most of my life. That all had to change when I started to ride horses again as an adult.
A horse is not a violin, and it is a sentient being with a brain, moods, feelings, and physical issues like us. I took many lessons both as a jumper and as a dressage rider, and it took a while (and many reminders from my trainers) that when training and working with a horse (or any animal) less is more. If you have done a move or pattern with them correctly once or twice, you move on to something else. This encourages the animal to have a positive memory of the experience and teach them that it is correct. This was not what I had been taught, so I really had to unlearn and relearn how to train my animal and myself. My horse was much happier and much more responsive to my cues, and willing to listen and trust what I was asking. It also helped them to stay healthy and strong, as well. As I mentioned, this applies to working with any type of animal as well.
