Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Jimmy Vonn. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

My name is Jimmy Vonn. I’m an actor, model and overall businessman. I’ve been making it happen for as long as I can remember. It’s literally in me. As far as acting and modeling goes, I’m naturally great at both. My personality is perfect when it comes to taking on roles that allow me to embody the character and show my creative side. I don’t need to really explain why I model. My face gets me in the door, but of course my personality lands me the gigs.

Outside of those things, I really am just a businessman. I can sell anything that needs to be sold and customers will love me during the process. One of the things I’m most proud of is 1st Mpression Aesthetics. I create cosmetic dental jewelry and molds. I went to school for it and to actually be working in this field is very satisfying. Also, I work with a pretty cool record/entertainment label, BSF. I’ve been with them from the beginning and it’s opened up even more dope opportunities for me.

Have you ever had to pivot?

I literally pivot all of the time. I have to make sure to align my business goals with the demands of the economy constantly. But at the same time, as an innovator I’m always ready to take risks even when current trends might not agree with my business moves. Most recently, I had to pivot in my acting journey. L.A. and ATL have the most opportunities in that field. I currently reside in Buffalo, NY so I have to travel often. Not to mention my lifestyle is extremely active so my airline miles are up right now.

Any resources you can share with us that might be helpful to other creatives?

As a creative I have to constantly stay creating. Whether it’s content, videos, new products, whatever. It can be alot, really. One of the greatest resources that a creative can have is a “team” Literally having other people in your corner to help hold you accountable, motivate you and help you reach your goals. It’s a resource that I really wish that I utilized sooner because I could have possibly been a little further than I am now. There’s a saying “If you want to go fast, go alone, if you want to go far, go together” My brand manager Lish has shown me this in so many ways. She literally takes my thoughts and ideas and helps me bring them to life. Literally “together” we can go so far and she holds it down so well. I know I could get there alone, but the journey is so much better with support.
