Charmain, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What’s the kindest thing anyone has ever done for you?

I was out one night with a friend meeting her parents for the first time. We were having a great time dancing, laughing and chatting. Sidenote-her parents are the most incredible humans. We said our goodbyes, I come out of the establishment and my car was towed. I spent hours trying to find my car, finally found it but once I got to the tow yard, my cards were flagging the charge as fraud so I couldn’t use them. She was kind enough to Venmo me so I could get my car at 4am!
On top of that, it was end of year recital for the schools I teach dance at and I had to be there at 9am.
No sleep that night, but I was able to get my car!

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

I moved from another country and could not find anywhere to dance. I started my business in a basement and my goal is to build confidence on every level. Health is ultimate wealth. What sets me apart from others is I do not believe in limitations.
I am most proud of is my ability to genuinely love every project that I am involved in and the people that I work with.

Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?

Being genuine. While I do believe that I am capable of doing everything, if it’s not in my wheelhouse, I am not afraid to refer the person to someone who can.

Alright – let’s talk about marketing or sales – do you have any fun stories about a risk you’ve taken or something else exciting on the sales and marketing side?

One of my absolute favorite moments is being booked to dress up like Barbie. Honestly, Barbie does not look like me so I didn’t know how it would be received. It went over extremely well and the visuals came out colorful, bright and euphoric like me!
