Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Taj Levi. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Taj, thanks for joining us today. Any thoughts around creating more inclusive workplaces?
There has been many instances where I have been the *only* in a workplace. I have been the only black person, the only queer person, the only trans person, etc. This reality is an isolating one, especially when the people you are surrounded by are not in ally ship with you. Inclusivity is imperative because it is harm reduction. Creating a more inclusive workplace is not making sure you have at least 1 woman, 1 person of color, etc on a team or in a workplace. If you can look around any workplace and there is a general uniformity of person then there is no inclusivity. If there is a a person with any marginalized intersection coming into a workplace, there should be a resounding confidence that the person will feel supported, understood, and cared for by seeing themselves in others, as well as seeing other people of different marginalized intersections.

Taj, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I am Taj Levi, and I have been a diviner/oracle reader since 2018! Initially, I was interested in understanding what spirituality meant for me after high school, and as i moved into adulthood. Spiritual curiousity opened me up to a fascination with crystals, and one day as i was shopping for some, i stumbled across the oracle decks. I bought my first deck that day, which has now turned into many. Since then, I went from doing readings for my close friends and family to doing readings for strangers on the internet in various countries and states! Initially, doing readings for me was a testament to the time and effort I put into learning about oracle and tarot cards, until I found myself connecting deeper with my own intuition and understanding. I have since built a resounding confidence in my learned knowledge, but most importantly my divine inner knowing. My business has provided me with so much clarity on my personal life, but mostly my values. I have cultivated such wonderful community through this passion of mine, and it has also financially sustained me through quarantining, and beyond. I have been able to move beyond doing personal readings and have also began facilitating intimate classes surrounding different spiritual understandings and healing practices.
I am most proud of my consistency and the interconnected reality of my own journey and the way I am able to be a guiding force for others’. I am most reachable through email and instagram! My work is prided on direct communication with every client, so everyones needs are clearly understood and met.

What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
As a diviner, there is a lot of trust and vulnerability that goes into facilitating healing for others. My favorite way to find new clients is in person through conversation, or through my own willingness to be vulnerable online. I really enjoy vending and having conversations with potential clients or people who are curious about what I do, and how I navigate healing/spiritual work.

Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?
One of my favorite parts of being a diviner, is checking in with clients post session to see how they’re doing. A lot of my clients end up feeling like family, which makes such a safe space for growth and clarity during sessions and beyond. Cultivating authentic relationships with my clients fosters loyalty!
