We were lucky to catch up with Natalie Fein recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Natalie, thanks for joining us today. Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?
Growing up in Maryland I always enjoyed nature and exploring the world, so when I realized art is in nature I instantly fell in love with creating it. I knew I wanted to pursue art professionally when it became my therapy after the loss of my father.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
I enjoy all art forms and every day I try something new. I am a painter, muralist, make unique cholla designed jewelry, tattoo artist, gardener, fire dancers and art instructor. After studying painting in Italy I realized I had an ability to also teach. While painting personal art pieces i decided to extend my talents to others and help them find their own artistic abilities. I created and teach rock mandala paint classes in person and online. I guide people into creating their own masterpieces. Challenges do arrive but I always motivate and encourage others to try their hardest and never give up. I’ve been very proud to be doing art classes for 5 years now and am thrilled participants love being apart of my class.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
My mission is to create art all around me at all times. Whether that’s painting, jewelry, fashion, dance, or music for me I always want to spread creativity in all forms.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
Having a creative outlook on life has brought me across the world to see different cultures and meet different people. Teaching and creating art will always be the most rewarding aspect and I know I will be doing it forever.
