We were lucky to catch up with Hoston Fannings recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Hoston, thanks for joining us today. Parents play a huge role in our development as youngsters and sometimes that impact follows us into adulthood and into our lives and careers. Looking back, what’s something you think you parents did right?
My dedication to community service is personal. My parents, Theresa and William Fannings, have devoted nearly five decades to community service, founding and managing powerful outreach programs. Thanks to them, I’ve seen first-hand the impact of altruism. Their legacy of making a difference continues to influence me as I strive to contribute positively to my community, alongside my brothers and sisters, while also being a guiding light to my own son, Chance. At Hoston & Poston Insurance, it’s about more than just insurance—it’s about continuing a family legacy of care, outreach, and empowerment.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

We operate on two primary fronts: employee benefits and community outreach. For business owners, we implement custom benefits packages at no cost to the company. Beyond these, we’ve assisted many in acquiring affordable dental, vision, and life insurance plans, as well as Aflac policies which pay cash for injuries and illnesses.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
Our reputation is one of modern strategy and timeless values. Our online portal allows clients easy access to their policy details and direct contact with us. Our clients rave about the ability to quickly compare rates from all the biggest carriers, while still getting grounded problem-solving from lil’ old locals Hoston Fannings and Jacob Poston. Our brand is our honesty, transparency, and always placing the customer’s interest first, even at our own expense.
Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?
If we’re awake, we’re on the clock. We’re there when the phone rings, and we keep solid communication via text, email, and face-to-face meetings. Our personal interest in our clients’ lives lets us keep them informed with updates that matter. The grassroots nature of our movement is about building real connections, and people still prefer real interactions over digital distance. Authenticity is key; we would always admit uncertainty now to provide accurate information later, rather than mislead someone with false certainty. Because that’s real. That’s Hoston & Poston.
