We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Joseph Karasek a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Joseph , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?
In May of 2023, I was diagnosed with stage 2b testicular cancer. The past year I have had three major surgeries consisting of an Orchiectomy, PC – RPLND, a lateral neck dissection, and 3 intense rounds of chemotherapy. At times I felt I had no reason to live, so I had to find one, and what I found was love.
I wrote a book called A Life With Love releasing May 18th, and started a non profit with the name A Life With Love Foundation based off its message.
If you are in and fully embracing a united loving environment, one where you have love from others, for others, and for yourself, that will ultimately allow you to heal from your mental trauma.
Once you are healed from your mental trauma, your mind will be clear of negative thoughts around your past life, and you will be open to the signs of the present moments.
These signs will show you what is most important to you in life, and what you are meant to serve, ultimately leading to a culmination of love for yourself, and love for your life. A Life With Love.
Our non profit foundation is building an online and in person community to help foster this loving environment for others, so they can find the path that I did. We want to throw fundraiser events to bring people together to support good causes, and spread love to others, ultimately raising the collective vibration of the entire world.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I started writing our book as a way to express my thoughts and emotions around some tragedies that happened in my life and my battle with cancer. I realized as I was writing it that there was a greater message I was trying to portray, a message of love.
I knew that all of the love I had received and embraced during cancer had given me a path to carve out what it was I wanted to serve in life, and what my purpose was, ultimately leading to a love for life. A Life With Love.
This led me to the realization that I wanted to use this message to help others find the same path I did, and start an organization that provided the same environment that I had during my battle with cancer.
Our non profit is offering merchandise for donation with positive messaging on it, and will be attending local community events to spread messages of love and respect, and create a safe space. We want to build towards throwing our own large music festivals and events, where we bring people together under a message of love and respect.
At these events, we will promote mental health, positivity, and love for one another. We want to bring in local entrepreneurs and creative artists to discuss and sell their products, and talk about why they love what they do with other people in hopes that it inspires others to find what they love to do in life.
A Life With Love Foundation also wants to promote people on our pages and website that are doing things from a basis of love and creating value for our communities.
Our organization prides itself on being there for one another, and we put that at the forefront of our ideals. We want people to know that if they are supporting us, that they are supporting love, and that ultimately serves the greater collective – the world.
I am proud to be a part of something that serves something greater than just myself, and it is ultimately my life’s passion, one that has given me so much joy and love.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
As a male, we are taught that we need to be strong, and that we should not discuss emotions and struggles we are going through. That we need to focus on providing from a financial standpoint. That sharing your emotions was considered weak.
A lot of men embrace this mindset and end up suppressing their feelings, which ultimately makes them more emotional and impacts their lives and others daily.
I had to realize that this was not the right way to go about things, and that I was actively harming myself and others by doing so.
Opening up to others is the strongest thing you can do. You can become a safe space for people to share what they are going through, and ultimately work through it. I believe that this is powerful, and what I want to provide to the world with this organization.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
I am still in the process of building this, but have started to gain traction on Tik Tok, Instagram, and Facebook on my personal and business pages. The #1 thing I would suggest is to just be authentic and share your thoughts and visions! It won’t be perfect at first, but once you start to do so, the right people will see the energy you are putting out and will help you with video editing, understanding the algorithm, and many other things. I would suggest reaching out and following other similar pages in your niche. Go to masterminds and networking events so you can find people who want to support you and give you organic engagement and growth. Post everyday and keep your followers updated so they know that you are constantly focused on and invested in your mission and purpose.
