We were lucky to catch up with Arnesto Frost recently and have shared our conversation below.
Arnesto, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. We’d love to hear about the things you feel your parents did right and how those things have impacted your career and life.
What my parents did right: My parents taught me to always treat other with respect and help them out as much as possible. You never know what anyone is going through, so it’s always best to be kind. I work at Wawa and I usually work around a lot of people and it is always good to greet people with a smile and give them A little joke lol. I’ve been there for 6 years and I can’t even count on my hand how many times people have told me they have come to see my smile or get some of my good energy cause it helps them through the day.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
My name is Arnesto Frost I am in the customer service field at the moment but inspiring to become a signed model. Growing up I was always into fashion and style. I never really had the money growing up to get it myself so I could never really look how I wanted to look. When I got older I still never really got into fashion until my middle 20’s I literally didn’t put effort into my appearance lol. Until one day my mom saw me and said “ you not tired of looking like that” that’s when I knew it was time to change. So I started Putting my money towards clothes more than other habits I had, and most of my friends were shocked by the change I had made. I also started gettin noticed by photographers because I was always posting my outfits. One ( who is close to me) suggested I started shooting and wanted to give me a photo shoot to encourage me to do more. I Dodged him at first because I actually don’t like too much attention on me. Soon he later on convinced me and I let him do it and the pictures turned out great. So I started wanting more and started doing more shoots. My peers were amazed and always told me I ended up influencing them to look better also. I’m always getting calls for outfit advice and helping my friends out with what to put on. What sets me aside from everyone else is that I’m just me and I’m genuine and everything I do. I’m most proud about is during my fashion journey it always made me want to look better in my outfits so I joined a gym and choose to do better health wise also.

Other than training/knowledge, what do you think is most helpful for succeeding in your field?
Being kind to people and networking. Sometimes it’s not even about what you know sometimes it’s also who you know.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
My photographer that gave me my first shoot. Without him giving me the courage to start shooting I wouldn’t be out here posting my pictures.
