We recently connected with Mother Earth and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Mother, thanks for joining us today. When did you first know you wanted to pursue a creative/artistic path professionally?
I knew I wanted to pursue my singing journey when I was 2 years old and belted out “unbreak my heart” in front of my mother.
I took initiative towards that goal when I was in my early 20’s. Life had taken me away from my soul for a little and I realized I strayed away from who I truly am.
Forgive me as I am rebranding from Cece Ro to Mother Earth as that resonates with me more than who I used to be!
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I’m currently working my way into the industry and creating space to bloom into the artist that I want to represent myself as.
The main focus of being someone in the public is who you are at heart!
There’s a ton of people looking to dim your light and some have even scoffed at my stage name but you got to push through.
I solve problems within the heart and emotions of life through my music, paintings, burlesque performance’s and overall words of advice.
My goal is to collaborate with as much down to earth talent as possible and so far I’ve been blessed to work with some of the upcoming greats like Cesspool and Konami Homi.
What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
The most rewarding part of sharing my souls messages is hearing it’s helped someone else and that I got it out of my head to put into the world with love and gratitude <3
Whether it’s received or not I’m just happy to share my heart!
Is there something you think non-creatives will struggle to understand about your journey as a creative? Maybe you can provide some insight – you never know who might benefit from the enlightenment.
The main thing I’ve experienced from non-creatives is envy. You do not need to envy someone else for their creative streak.
we have learned our freedom through art and self expression.
Most importantly, no one can be you! Only you are you
Who do you want to be?
Where do you want to be?
You can become anyone you want.
(As long as you’re not harming others nor animals)
Walk any path in this life that make you happy with yourself but leave thee envy/ego in the back to reach your full potential.
Comparison is the thief of joy!
