Hi Christopher , thanks for joining us today. We’d love to start by getting your thoughts on what you are seeing as some the biggest trends emerging in your industry
My company offers services for all social media platforms but we specialize in Instagram. Instagram’s algorithm is constantly evolving. This platform in particular rewards those who utilize all aspects of their platforms. For instance, accounts that use a variety of engagement stickers on stories, vertical video content, and portrait-sized posts, are more likely to get a higher reach because of the use of the platform’s resources. We’ve updated our online marketing strategies for clients to use a multitude of Instagram’s resources to get the most bang for our client’s buck.
Christopher , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
My name is Christopher Coffman, owner of Impact Marketing Services, LLC. We specialize in social media and email marketing, content creation, social media management and other digital marketing services. I graduated from Purdue University in 2015 with a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics, Sales and Marketing.
For the last eight years, I’ve worked in the agriculture industry, primarily in sales. I’ve always wanted to get into social media marketing but the job opportunities were very limited. I started my business in 2022 as a side hustle and took Impact Marketing Services full-time in June 2023 as things began to grow.
At Impact Marketing Services, our goal is to help clients reach their target audience through creative and original content while highlighting their brand’s mission and services. We’ve been very fortunate to make excellent customer-client relationships over the past couple of years. Throughout this time, we’ve been able to dial in on our client’s branding and help them support their sales initiatives.
How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
Our reputation is based on three things. . First, the quality of content we provide our customers. Secondly, the real, data-driven results we obtain for our clients. Finally, and most importantly, our relationships we build with our clients. We focus heavily on their brand and messaging so we can create unique content so their brand stands out from their competition. We have great relationships with business owners and make sure their input is heard and valued.
What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
We use a variety of sales-funnels to grow our client count. We attend numerous in-person, local networking events, make cold calls, promote ourselves on social media, and we have a very good word-of-mouth marketing strategy, thanks in large part to our current client base.
No one strategy is more important than the other. Just as we use different social media marketing tools for clients (photography, videography, stories, engagement stickers, etc.), Impact Marketing Services utilizes all necessary tools to promote ourselves.
