Hi Sean, thanks for joining us today. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
Our mission is to change the exercise industry . There are so many things we do based on tradition that could be done so much better. Paying attention to detail and taking the time to find the best way to get the most out of each person . You don’t have to die or kill your self to be in shape . You do have to be consistent and give it everything you got . You get what you give . People think there is a cheat code ! A specific food or exercise that gets you In shape when it’s really just about consistency .
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I never worked out until I got to prison . I fell in love and it became my passion . It gave me peace during a time I thought my life was over and made the future look bright . I started at legacy fit and will always be grateful for manning joe Ron and the rest of the no days off family for bringing me in and leading by example . Trust the process put in the work and the rest will take care of itself. During quarantine I decided to go out on my own . I wasn’t really sure what I wanted to do but soon it became clear . Small classes boutique style super private great customer service and the biggest quality training in the industry with great people somewhere that people want to go! not somewhere they have to go. I’m proud that it’s only been a year but everything is starting to come together no gimmicks, no corny marketing strategies no trying to be sneaky with people . We want to give you a great experience, an experience so great you can’t live with out it and want to tell all of your friends. It’s so much more than a gym . We work out there but it’s really just a vibe .
What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
I think what built my reputation in my market was my work . Everyone can see the work everyday showing up giving everything I have all the energy all the passion . The learning the growth . I’ve evolved so much as a trainer and person since I first started and I feel like I haven’t scratched the surface . I don’t try and be something I’m not I just do what I know and I do it to the best of my ability and I’m always trying to find a better way to do things and improve my craft . Never satisfied and I think people have noticed throughout the years
What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
The most effective strategy for growing our clientele is to take care of our existing clients. And putting out a quality product . From what I’ve seen everything is based on referrals and Instagram . Word gets out that we take care of our people and treat them like family and still deliver the highest quality training at a fair price. We’re not big on marketing or anything like that we want to keep it as authentic as possible ! We want people to come who really want to be here and buy into what we’re doing and when they do they get excited about it and it’s contagious . It may take a little longer but I feel like in the long run it will work out better and really give us an identity
