The concept of success is multifaceted and varies from person to person. While society often defines success in terms of wealth, status, and possessions, true success is deeply personal and subjective. It’s about finding what drives us, brings us happiness, and fulfills us based on our unique experiences and values. Success evolves over time as we grow and change, requiring us to continually reassess our goals and priorities. For me, success means first understanding where I am in life and what truly fulfills me. It’s about pursuing those passions and staying focused amidst the distractions and noise of the world. That’s why I named my company Achieving Success LLC—to emphasize that success is a journey, not just a destination. In college, success meant landing a job with a professional sports team, which I achieved with dedication and hard work. Now, as a business owner, success is about making a positive impact on others’ lives in meaningful ways.

I ventured into entrepreneurship through a culmination of diverse work experiences and skill-building endeavors. From my early days in professional sports to navigating the complexities of supply chain management, I’ve gained insights into various industries and roles. With a comprehensive understanding of business principles acquired through certifications and degrees, I embarked on establishing Achieving Success LLC. My journey led me to publish the book “Achieving Success in Career Development,” covering everything from crafting resumes to exploring professional organizations. Through conversations with individuals about their career paths, I discovered that success isn’t always defined by conventional metrics like wealth or position. This realization inspired me to create a platform where authentic experiences could be shared. Thus, my business was born, encompassing book publishing, podcasting, and speaking and consulting services. My podcast, “Achieving Success with Olivia Atkin,” features guests from diverse backgrounds discussing their personal and professional journeys, highlighting the highs and lows of success. In my speaking engagements, I address topics such as personal and professional development, team building, and podcasting. Additionally, I offer tailored consulting services to individuals and groups, assisting with goal-setting, strategy implementation, and podcast development. My consultancy also extends to podcasting, offering services ranging from podcast launch assistance to guest outreach and podcast improvement audits and media kits.

Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?

Establishing effective communication with clients can be challenging, especially considering their unique preferences. During the initial meeting with a new client, I take the time to understand their communication preferences, asking questions that may not typically come to mind. This proactive approach allows us to align on communication methods from the start, minimizing the potential for misunderstandings. Throughout our collaboration, I maintain contact using their preferred communication channels, demonstrating attentiveness and reliability. Additionally, I make a point to check in with clients periodically, not with the sole intention of making a sale, but to show genuine interest in their well-being. This approach fosters strong relationships and cultivates brand loyalty organically, as clients recognize and appreciate the personalized care and attention they receive.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?

The adage “Actions speak louder than words” resonates deeply, particularly in the realm of entrepreneurial endeavors and the cultivation of personal and professional brands. My journey across multiple business domains, spanning podcasting, consulting, speaking engagements, and authorship, underscores the profound relevance of this principle.

Central to the establishment of my reputation was a deliberate departure from hard-selling tactics. Rather than imposing sales pitches, I prioritize authentic connection, allowing my expertise to naturally shine through. For instance, when embarking on my podcasting venture, I dedicated nearly two months to exhaustive research. This encompassed identifying optimal platforms, refining production techniques, and devising strategies for organic growth and SEO optimization. Drawing upon insights from industry insiders, I sought to leave no stone unturned, actively soliciting feedback to fuel continuous improvement.

The results were compelling. Within a mere 30 days of its debut, my podcast had garnered listenership across four countries, swiftly ascending to the top echelon of global rankings within 19 weeks. This success not only attracted individuals seeking guidance in career development but also positioned me as a recognized authority in the field of podcasting.
