Mikail, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Let’s jump back to the first dollar you earned as a creative? What can you share with us about how it happened?

My first album return of the hustle independently made 11k through streaming services. I was so surprised by how many people were listening and sharing the music I was speechless to say the lest

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

I didn’t think I would be this deep into the music honestly. When I was younger I had dreams of being a rapper and I always loved the music. Than I got signed to HMP music group back in the day. It was a great experience until I got incarcerated than I lost those dreams. What brought me back to music to be honest was seeing Marc G giving 100% to the art.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

Well I always had a big following for just being myself. I’ve always been a popular guy in the city . Wether from love , hate , or envy. I’m a Aquarius we are a sight to behold I guess lol. But what really helped spike my followers was the Mackin in Miami Album. The promotion that was done by my manager was incredibly successful

What can society do to ensure an environment that’s helpful to artists and creatives?

Society needs to return to buying music from the artist. Streaming has made ppl forget that music was a gift that you had to pay for. Even though the bootleg area you had to pay to hear the music. Yeah the radio station played the music, but the real songs were on the albums. That’s why I’m so glad platforms like Even is here now. My last single Whitney did 2k in a month thanks to the fans buying the music directly from me
