We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Tracey Le a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Tracey, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
Initially I started my food page as an online food journal when I found my true passion was to cook. I started with nothing more than my iPhone camera, a handful of home-cooked recipes, and a desire to spread my recipes— that’s when I began my digital adventure.
My goal is simple— to spread the joy of cooking to anyone who’ll watch. I have recipes from family classics to new dishes, hoping to inspire others to get creative in their own kitchen.
With each video I created, I shared not just home-cooked recipes, but a piece of myself. Whether it was a family recipe or something new. I poured my heart and soul into every dish. As my audience grew, so did the impact of my videos. People from all over the world watched, in which they found inspiration and it gave them the comfort of cooking.
So with just my love for food and a camera, I will continue my cooking journey and hope for the best to keep it going. Each video I make is a chance to share knowledge, happiness, and just simply the joy of cooking.. one recipe at a time.

Yes, absolutely! Firstly, hi there! My name is Tracey. I am the digital creator of Just Like Moms. I’m juggling the roles as a homemaker and a mama of two little ones. To get started, I will go a little more in depth about my journey of making cooking videos and how that came about.
I’m passionate about food and creativity, so naturally, combining the two was a no-brainer for me. I started making cooking videos as a way to share my love for cooking with others and to inspire them to also get down in the kitchen.
My videos include easy recipes for everyday cooking as well as fancier dishes, so there’s something for everyone, no matter your taste or cooking experience.
In general, my content caters to everyone— whether you’re an experienced chef, a home cook, or someone who is just starting out.
One of the main problems I aim to solve for my viewers is the intimidating feeling that often comes with making new recipes. I break down complex dishes into easy-to-follow steps, making cooking accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
What makes me stand out is my genuine love for food and my authentic way of cooking. I don’t just give out recipes—I also share stories, tips, and tricks that I’ve picked up, making it more interesting and knowledgeable for my audience.
I’m incredibly proud of the community that has formed around my brand. It’s amazing to see people from all over the world coming together to share their love for food and creativity. Building this community and inspiring others to cook brings me so much joy and fulfillment.
In the end, I just want my followers and fans to understand that cooking goes beyond just making meals—it’s about making memories, building friendships and connections, and most of all.. finding joy in the simple things in life. I’m here to help them through it all!
How did you build your audience on social media?
Building my audience on social media is all about consistency, authenticity, engagement, and providing value. I always make sure to post content regularly to keep my audience engaged and interested. Interacting with my audience is very crucial. I respond to comments, messages, and mentions to help create a friendly community around my content. I prioritize using high-quality visuals to make my posts visually appealing and shareable. I also keep an eye on hashtags and trends to increase the discoverability of my content. Collaborating with other creators and brands has also helped me reach new audiences and expand my network. I check how well my posts are doing to see what my audience likes, then I make my content better based on that. To help me get more followers, I’d share my videos and posts on different platforms, such as Youtube and Tiktok, and to keep up with what’s popular on social media.
What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
The best sources of new followers for me on social media have been from my consistent posting, engagement with my audience, collaborations with other brands, and sharing my content across different platforms.
