It all began back in August 2022 when I decided to dip my toes into content creation. I had this vague notion that I wanted to talk about health and financial literacy, but honestly, I was clueless about where it would take me. Fast forward a few months, and I found myself caught in this whirlwind of creativity and excitement that I had never experienced before.

But here’s the kicker: I was stuck in a comfy, cushy HR job that I had spent seven years building. I had finally landed my dream gig—a six-figure salary, remote work, unlimited time off—the works. On paper, it was perfect. But deep down, I knew something was missing.

Leaving that job felt like trying to pry myself away from a warm, cozy blanket on a chilly morning. I was terrified of what lay beyond the safety net of my 9-5. What if I couldn’t pay my bills? What if I ended up regretting everything? It was like a never-ending tug-of-war between my dreams and my fears.

Have you ever had to pivot?

Transitioning from health and raw foods to digital marketing and content strategy wasn’t just a shift in focus—it was a pivotal moment that tested my resolve and reshaped my path.

Initially entrenched in the world of health and wellness, I felt a stirring within me, a call to explore new horizons. Despite the challenges that lay ahead, I made the decision to pivot my business, letting go of brand deals, followers, and subscribers who had joined me on my health journey.

The transition wasn’t easy. For three months, I faced financial uncertainty and doubts about whether I had made the right choice. But I remained steadfast, following my heart rather than chasing the allure of immediate gain.

And you know what? It paid off. Today, I’m 9-5 free, have tripled my income, and am happier and more fulfilled than ever before. This pivot wasn’t just about changing niches; it was about reclaiming my authenticity and honoring my true passions.

In hindsight, I’m grateful for the journey and the lessons it taught me. It reaffirmed the importance of trusting oneself and embracing change, even when the path ahead seems uncertain. And while the transition may have been challenging, the destination it led me to was undeniably worth it.
