We were lucky to catch up with Galina Sobolev recently and have shared our conversation below.
Galina , appreciate you joining us today. Let’s start with a story that highlights an important way in which your brand diverges from the industry standard.
I always strive to align myself with Luxury small businesses. Mainly because they are always incredibly supportive, responsive & I love to Elevate their presence within the Community.
What I do is quite unique & different from what various Companies within this realm offer.
I try to procure Luxury collaborations between Brands, Individuals, & create a unique experience for everyone involved.
Whether it’s bringing together a Caviar client with a Luxe Florist & a Couture fashion brand , or an Exceptional Mezcal client with a High end Restaurant & a Resale Luxe bag company .
Or inviting a Celebrity friend to
Collaborate with & promote a Fashion brand while sipping a limited Release Rose from a clients Napa Winery.
These beautiful collaborations & events are highly anticipated & appreciated .
By Publicists & Talent alike as well as luxe brands who are involved.
After many years in Fashion, & Luxury Branding & Marketing, I’m truly excited to share this new Experience with my Luxe clientele!

How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
I think the most difficult & surprising time was during Covid We lost close to $750k thousand
Worth of already produced orders, however it only took me 4/5 days in the office to realize that we had to pivot!
My entire production team
Turned to manufacturing Hospital gowns, & masks
We did it very swiftly , seamlessly & our business actually did not suffer as much & I was able to keep the employees working
This was a huge blessings for the families of our employees

We’d love to hear about how you met your business partner.
A beautiful story of how I met my partner/husband We met at midnight on
Xmas Eve night at a
Russian restaurant
We dated for a few years & suddenly one afternoon we drafted a business plan on a napkin
He thought that as a Creative Director
Of a 345 million dollar company
I was getting paid too much , &
I should own my own business
so he sold his Mercedes &
We started Gala, Inc
And never looked back
