We were lucky to catch up with Ryan Mundt recently and have shared our conversation below.

Ryan, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?

EZ Going is a sports brand that promotes putting in the extra effort in pursuit to better your life. The more hours the easier your pursuit becomes.

Our brand supports youth sports training and ultimately would like to develop into not just an apparel retailer but a platform to spread our knowledge in sports and life.

Ryan, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

Growing up in sports taught me everything I know today in regards to working hard. Without sports I don’t think I finish college with an engineering degree and because of this I think sports is one of the most beneficial components to the youth coming up.

My business partner and I wanted to create a brand that supports athletics while still looking good. All athletes like to look good not only on the field but off the field.

Our goal is to use the brand to kick start our baseball academy facilities to be ran by my partner, Dane Myers of Miami Marlins, and myself. We want to give kids the guidance and coaching we struggled to find coming up through sports. The coaches outside of your family have such a large impact on a child that it is crucial to put the right individuals around them.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?

The mission is to emphasize hard work is required to make your like EZ Going. Nothing is ez until the hours are put in.

We’d love to hear about how you met your business partner.

My cofounder and I met in 8th grade playing baseball on the same team even though he does not remember this. Then we went to the same high school where we played football together and became brothers from then on.

Our circles are very tight and it’s a family thing for us, not a business.
